"All behavior makes sense"

"It most certainly does not!", is probably your first reaction.

Parenting and neuroscience expert Robyn Gobbel is here to reveal how all behavior, no matter how baffling, can be explained and remedied. You just need to look past the behavior and understand what's going on inside.

Robyn decodes the latest brain science into easy-to-understand principles and metaphors to help you become an expert in your child's behavior. She reveals simple ways to help you regulate and connect with your child, with brain-, body- and sensory-based strategies to overcome day-to-day challenges. She also provides you with the knowledge to understand and regulate your own brain so that you don't flip your lid when your child flips theirs.

Let this be your lifeline for parenting or caring for any child with baffling behaviors and hidden challenges, including kids who have experienced adversity, or with additional needs.

What an easy and informative listen

It is easy to listen to Robyn, it’s as if we are just having a kind conversation with each other. She’s so easy to listen to and the knowledge that was taught to help me see my kid’s big behaviors (and mine too!) were so helpful. Thank you thank you!

On the verge of changing the world!

Robyn's presentation of the vastness of relational neuroscience is understandable and usable. Her narration of her own book makes it even more powerful. She presents the facts and theories in a warm, kind, relatable, and usable way and it's easier to internalize the information. I'm so grateful for the way she has shared her knowledge, her gifts, and herself with us.

Pages of compassion

This book served compassion in a tray of love and connection. It made me smile, cry and know about myself. I was looking for advise for my therapy clients and faced myself in a mirror, faced my own nervous system and the way impacts how I see all humans in this world. Giving compassion to my history, to my own possum brain (you will understand when you read), changed my behavior with my clients, daughter, and myself really early in the book. This book does not have amazing recipes of success, it contains real, heartfelt, love advices that will heal your whole family and self.

Authentic, helpful, and hopeful

If you are tired of reading (or listening) to parenting books that make you feel worse or hopeless or too hard to follow, but you are still looking for help, this is definitely the book for you. I’ve followed Robyn’s work for over 10 years. Throughout that time, I have been encouraged as a parent, a therapist, and a human in more ways than I can count. This book is a culmination of learning and experience that is packaged and delivered in a way that is easy to listen to, easy to understand, and as easy to implement as anything relating to parenting can be. And most importantly, you’ll end up with an understanding of what behavior really is and strategies that can make a real difference. Through it all, Robyn offers compassion and understanding. I highly recommend!

Absolutely Amazing

I can't say enough about how this book has helped my personal life as a mother and grandmother of kids with Big Baffling Behaviors and my career as a therapist with kids that have vulnerable nervous systems.
