Publisher's summary

Rick McCoy of the Major Crime Squad is trying to repair his marriage when he is sent to the South of Western Australia. A young girl's body has been found in a cave, with flowers on her chest. A search finds five more bodies.

Beautiful criminal psychologist, Patricia Holmes, has recovered from her stab wounds inflicted by the serial killer PPP, and is brought in. Pat believes they are hunting a man who is addicted to beauty. When another school girl goes missing, they have only days before she too will die.

As their desire for each other grows and the pressure on their marriages increase, they close in on the man responsible for the beautiful deaths. Meanwhile, in the high-security wing of the mental health hospital, PPP plans his revenge on Rick.

I enjoyed two books so far ...

it was not like most Steven King books ghostly and mysterious but still very interesting. I really liked psychology aspect of the books. It allows you to see a bigger picture that serial killers are not all the same. They had trouble childhood, but motives for killing could be different.
I really like the narrator. He was very convincing as Harold.
I'm going to purchase the third book from this series.

Enter the Mind of a Serial Killer

Following his first book "Memiors of a serial Killer", Stephen B King again leads us into the warped mind and upbringing of another serial killer. Young Girls are going missing while our detectives Pat and Rick fight to remain focused as their lives are being torn by their spouses, and their powerful attraction for each other. Narrator Boyes carries the tale with his Australian accent, providing some chilling scenes as the drama unfolds.

Ugh

I only finished this trilogy bc, due to time constraints, I could download it- after an Audible search for Stephen King. Criticize him all you want, he can make you giggle in a dark situation. This author is cliched and unoriginal. I attempted to refund books 2 & 3 but was aggravated being on hold.
