Easy to follow, step by step!
Dr Bozworth explains the Ketogenic diet in a way that makes it easy to understand. She uses a past patient as an example which makes the topic very interesting. I loved Dr's first book (Anyway you can), her you tubes on the subject and her on--line course, and this book is also excellent! I've been following the Ketogenic lifestyle for a number of years, but, because of Dr Bozworth, I now have a way to measure my progress (beside weight loss!) My personal doctor was very happy at my last physical and supports my plan to continue my " one ketone at a time" journey. Thanks Dr. Boz!

Keto Chemistry Explained
Great book!! This book explains what happens in the body during ketosis and the continuum makes understanding and tracking your progress simple. I fell ‘off the wagon’ and stalled and this book gave me the understanding and science of ketosis to get back on (after many false starts) the path to a healthier body.
Find your ‘why’ and stick with the continuum. Then find your level that works for your body and health. This book supports your keto journey to a healthier you, respecting that each person is an individual.

Life changing!
I have learned so much more through Grandma Rose and David’s story than I have learned in the many previous keto statistical and science based books!! It touched my heart and taught me how to succeed in this journey and heal my insulin resistance for life! Thank you Dr Boz!!

I loved this book!
I learned so much from this book. I have been doing low carb for about 2 years, but I now know I wasn't doing keto. Dr Boz explains that keto is not a diet it is a chemistry. That changed my whole perspective. I love the fact that she reads it and just like her previous book I couldn't stop listening until I finished it. I can't wait for the book and workbook to come out in print so I can start my journey using her principles of keto chemistry. Meanwhile I will keep eating my LCHF diet and checking my numbers and getting myself in shape for the journey, I have a good bit of inflammation I want to get rid of. I am so grateful for Dr Boz and all the great science backed information she has given us.

A heart warming, compelling story.
Doctor Boz has a wonderful way of getting her well researched information a-crossed. I have loved both of her books. I feel as though I lost my mom( Gramma Rose) to this virus!🙁 The first Book helped me to get through the science and structure of keto, now the new one will help me get through a stall and stretch my cells to the advanced level of healing/ restoring keto. Thank you Dr Boz 🤗🎶🙏

Science Explained Through a Real Life Story
Imagine meeting Dr. Annette Bosworth (aka Dr. Boz), an internal medicine MD, and chatting over a cup of coffee while she explains the science of how our bodies work related to diet , diabetes, and the ketogenic lifestyle. That is this book!! Her style is conversational and energetic. You feel her passion. She narrates this book herself and that adds to the value of it. She teaches through illustrations, both graphically and by telling the story of a real life person who found success in following her instructions. His story is woven throughout the book as she teaches key concepts that will lead to success. Many people are teaching about the Keto diet. The magic that Dr. Boz brings to the Keto approach is a step by step process called The Keto Continuum. This allows people to progress at their own pace and choose the step on the continuum that works for each person. It is a sequential process. It is easier for people to take small steps that make a difference. I appreciate that she focuses on getting our body chemistry working right, rather than treating it like diet. She is also a greatI example of practicing what she teaches. I could hardly stop listening, once I downloaded this book. It will be one I listen to more than once. Thank you Dr. Boz.

This is an amazing story intertwined with science to back the results.
Dr.Bosworth does an excellent job describing the science behind the benefits of living a Ketogenic life. The true story of Grandma Rose inspired David to turn around his health and motivates the reader to do the same using your body‘s chemistry.

Filled in the gaps
I’ve been using the Keto diet to improve my health over several years. I read Dr Bosworths first book and appreciate her work to write this second book. I am a cancer survivor and fasted the 8 days I had Kemo.
I am in complete remission. This book gives me the info I needed to keep going forward after slacking off the level I was at. Sugar never stops being addictive. I need the group

Motivating and packed with info!
I loved this book and did not want it to end! While reading I was so motivated but have many reservations about starting a group in my small rural town. Thank you so much because I finally understand why I keep failing. Next I am starting on the workbook and hoping to maybe find someone to join me along the way.
