Publisher's summary

Becky Tibbs is a “real-deal medium".

Ask anyone in Asheville, North Carolina, and they would agree. Of course, her gift is often discussed behind closed doors in whispers more often than not. And there are many unbelievers until they have a ghost problem of their own.

What a surprising heirloom!

Becky didn’t ask for the job of a medium, but after her parents died, it was passed down to her from her mother’s side of the family.

Being an optimistic young woman and often too kind and understanding for her own good, Becky makes the best of a difficult situation in a small town where everyone knows everything about everyone else. Becky deals with ghosts on a daily basis, but she has set some boundaries - her home if off-limits.

Fans of the television series Ghost Whisperer, The Dead Zone, and Medium will enjoy this cozy ghost mystery.

Becky tries to live as normal a life as possible. She’s planning a wonderful Thanksgiving meal with her brother and sister, but will her special dinner go according to plans?

It's possible that some departed spirits simply want to interfere with the living.

Not everyone understands that Becky will easily agree to help them. It is simply what she does. Just before her planned Thanksgiving gathering, Becky is kidnapped and injured by an obsessed hillbilly.

Will Bobby and Barbara use their gifts to help find their little sister?

Patrick, a young detective who is smitten with Becky, is determined to find her before it is too late? Will Bobby and Barb help him?

Join Becky as she solves many mysteries in this light, clean, airy, and informative series.

A Medium's Thanksgiving Table

Becky Tibbs is just who I need right now. I love her positive attitude. She is very loyal to her friends and family and she doesn’t gossip. She sounds like she would make a great friend!
In this 2nd book of the series, Becky helped a few people with their ghost problems. Apparently, the word didn’t get out that Becky would be willing to help anyone, because she got kidnapped by someone that needed her help! It was all a bit cheesy – but I am a sucker for cheesy!
I really liked the introduction of Patrick. They seem like a perfect match. I look forward to the other books in this series.

A Great Series

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request, and have voluntarily left this review. Life is never dull for the town's Medium. Becky is always willing, just ask her, don't kidnap her. Becky's part time job almost take as much time as her full time job, but she wouldn't change a thing. This quirky tale is suspenseful and action filled and keeps you listening to the very end. Looking forward to the next one.

Book Two in a Great Entertaining Series

Becky and her family have inherited the family trait of being mediums. Becky uses the trait to help local ghosts address their problems so that they can feel comfortable enough to pass on. In this book she is kidnapped and the only one to see is one of the local ghosts who must get work to her siblings so that can try and get help to Becky before it is to late. This is a good read and once again the author provides both the main plot along with a number of sub-plots to the story to keep the reader both entertained as well as intrigued throughout the story. One of the sub-plots in this story is that Becky meets one of the police officers who helps in finding and rescuing her. Where will this go in both Book 2 and potentially future books in the series. Looking forward to Book 3.

absolutely delightful.

The best thing I can say about this, second book in the series is, delightful.Chariss has a unique approach to ghosts. You need to read this series in order to see what I mean. She doesn’t approach it from the comma scare the pants off of you, side of things. However, you will not be disappointed with this series. In this book, we get to see a little bit more of Becky’s personality. we know that she helps with problems with ghosts, however we see a really tender side of her when she helps a little girl, who is not a ghost. Get your tissues ready. if you’re tired of the authors who tend to drag it situation out, when you see that there is going to be a romance, but it takes forever for it to happen, you don’t have this problem in this book. If you are like me, you want to see people get together, as soon as possible. I love it!

The Second Ghost Story Cozy

Chariss K Walker has written a series in which three siblings have discovered that they are mediums when their parents visit them on the night of their accidental death. This series centers around the youngest sibling, named Becky, who has embraced this ability and who tries to aid the ghosts that need help. The other two siblings are not as accepting of the gift as Becky is. This is the second book in the series. Although the book can be read as a stand alone as the opening chapter of the book gives a brief history of when the siblings were made aware of their power, it adds in the appreciation of the character development to have read the first book before reading this one. I am finding this series to be light and entertaining and recommend it to others who love this genre. Kathleen Britt's narration is good. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily left this review.

Clean Cozy Mystery with Medium who helps ghosts!

Kathleen Britt is the perfect voice for this series. So much goes on in this one that you will not want to stop listening! Having also read and reviewed the e-book I was pleasantly surprised at how this series audible sounds just like it did in my head as I was reading it.
