Publisher's summary

Bob Burke is back for book four! This time he’s tusslin’ with the Russian mob and the czar himself in the Kremlin!

When the Russian mafia in Brighton Beach steals his company’s army software contract, blows up his office building in Chicago, and attacks Sherwood Forrest, enough is enough!

After dustups with ISIS terrorists, the New York Genovese and Luchese mafia families in an Atlantic City casino, and a shootout with the Chicago DiGrigoria mob in a Forrest Preserve woods, all this former army sniper, ranger, and Delta Force commander wanted was to go back to his North Carolina farm, kick back, and enjoy life.

But that can wait. Time to take break up their operation in Brooklyn, take their "lunch money", kick some butt, and make a house call on their boss in his dacha back in Moscow. With the help of the Merry Men, a Russian army colonel, Sasha the Mad Russian, sniper rifles, and, of course, plenty of plastic explosives, it is game on!

Like Burke's War, Burke's Gamble, and Burke's Revenge, the action is nonstop! It’s time for some serious payback and a taste of revenge.

Undersized, underestimated, and now a telecommunications company executive, he is often dismissed as simply the “phone guy”, but as his former Delta sergeants will attest, whether he’s carrying a .50-caliber Barrett sniper rifle, a tactical knife, or just his bare hands, he is one of the most lethal killing machines the US government ever produced.

If you like a fast-paced action-adventure suspense novel, buy this Delta Force thriller. It’s another military best seller from the author of The Undertaker, Amongst My Enemies, Thursday at Noon, Aim True, My Brothers, Winner Lose All, and The Cold War Trilogy.

Whether you're looking for a good beach book, something to get you through a long plane flight, or something to take the chill off a cold winter night, buy the audiobook and find out for yourself. And enjoy!

Burke gets into trouble again!

Bob and his merry men tangle with the Russian mob leading to various confrontations in New York, Sherwood Forest and finally at a dacha outside of Moscow. Along the way he recruits more people to join his band. The story line follows the previous Bob Burke tales where the bad guys badly under-estimate the "phone" guy.

Burke takes on the Russian Mob!!!

Once again William Brown proves he can craft a Bob Burke story that is a page-turner that refuses to let the reader/listener put it down. In this case Burke’s Samovar involved the Russian Mob muscling in on Bob’s company. As is usual with the Burke stories, there was non-stop action coupled with numerous interpersonal relationships that left this reader shaking his head and at times laughing. This is a must read/listen for Bob Burke fans and can serve as an excellent entry point for new Bob Burke readers/listeners. Matthew Newbold’s variety of voices for the character really brought this story to life.

Another great book by Bill

The Burke series are a great listen for my wife and I as we travel. She usually doesn’t care for my picks due to heavy duty battles and blood. Bill makes it an interesting story without eye poking bloody scenes she doesn’t like. The characters and actions are believable and interesting. Thanks Bill for another great listen. I highly recommend this series for those that like action.

Awesome

He is back, taking things in stride, as things around him are blowing up. The Russian mob, trying to get a foot into the pentagon, and blackmail. The adventure is non stop from the Carolina’s to Moscow. The narration is awesome and adds a depth to another fast paced thriller. Given audio for my voluntary review
