    Apr 4 2024

Our brain is what controls or tries to control everything!

It does this by remembering everything we do regularly that doesn’t kill us and repeats it over and over again until it becomes an automatic habit.

The good news is – we are the only species that has the ability to think about our thinking.

We have 60,000 thoughts a day and over 90% of them are repeated and unconscious.

So, when we think about making changes it can create lots of emotions in us that make it more challenging. Mostly feelings of discomfort.

Overwhelmed, stress, anxiety, fear, depressed, etc.

By design – our brain is designed to be efficient by using the least amount of energy to do its work at the highest level.

Listen in while I share all aspects of the emotional Triad we're always dealing with when it comes to making changes and interrupting the patterns of our behavior that are necessary for personal and professional growth and evolution.. If you enjoy listening to this podcast, you have to come check out "Your Inner Guide", my signature program where we work together 1:1 for 6 months on peeling back the layers of life experiences. I teach you how to reveal your inner strengths, step out of everyone else's opinions of plans for you, and step into your divine feminine energy. This is how I introduce "YOU" to yourself. Making Decisions:

One the most important key factors in achieving goals.

It starts with setting a goal you want to achieve and asking yourself powerful questions:

    • Why do I want to achieve this goal?
    • What will change in my life if I achieve it?
    • Why is this important to me?

and then when all that makes sense then - JUST DECIDE!

Solo Episode - Anxiety, Worry and Stress

What are these emotions, why do we have them, and where do they come from?

Stress - pressure or tension exerted on a material object. – That’s not the one Stress - a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances. Challenging situations (Perceived)

What is Anxiety - a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.

Worry - a state of anxiety and uncertainty over actual or potential problems.

Now potential is a key descriptor in this. It’s important to understand because it doesn’t actually mean that there is a challenging situation and or an actual problem.

It’s the perception or anticipation of a potential problem.

Some of us allow information in (or noise from external factors) and our brain is the amazing efficient factory of thoughts that are produced automatically, especially if we’ve practiced them over and over again. It’s like an assembly line that produces the same product over and over.

    Our brain's product is thoughts.

Listen in to learn how we're the ones who create anxiety, worry, and stress and why that's the best news.
