Ready for another round?

Ava Grace Landy's music career is humming along, until a shakeup at her label jeopardizes her recording contract and curses her with the world's worst boss. Determined to satisfy him, she partners with Trinity Distillery to access a larger male audience. To her surprise, she's the one who's satisfied - by none other than Jonah Beck, the gorgeous yet gruff man behind the bourbon.

No doubt about it, bourbon runs in Beck's blood. But it's audacious Ava Grace who makes it run hot. When she signs on as the spokesperson for his craft distillery, he doesn't plan on hoisting her onto an oak barrel and rocking the rick-house. Though he's convinced their lives don't mix - like a terrible cocktail - he can't keep his hands off the alluring country star.

Ava Grace and Beck try to keep their intoxicating relationship private, but the glare of her fame is too bright, revealing secrets they both want to remain hidden. With a spotlight shining on his tumultuous past, their future is at risk. Now they must decide if being together is worth sacrificing the career she loves and the company he's poured his heart and soul into.

Cute Romance

This was a cute book that was different than anything I have read before. Usually it is the male character who is famous and falls for a regular person, but not here. It was a nice, refreshing read. I look forward to reading more from Jenna Sutton.

The narration was great! I always love listening to Ava Lucas!

🎧AudiobookObsession

I read book 1 in the Riley O'Brien Series first and am glad I did. I felt that reading this as book 2 in that series was perfect in the timeline. I loooooooved this story. Getting to see Ava Grace and her journey with Trinity was fantastic. I have become so attached to the characters. The writing was fantastic, the perfect amount of love and heart ache, like the perfect country song.

The Narration was spot on. Ava gave such life and personality to each character. She is fabulous with always giving us voices that at distinctive and clear to follow. Always a pleasure to listen to.

Love this! Absolutely moving on to "Coming Apart at the Seams" now!

Sizzling chemistry but slow realization

Barreled over was my first experience with Jenna Sutton's writing and I liked it very much.

Ava Grace was a great character. She had this loving and understanding and utterly positive personality. Her love ran deeply. She supported her family - whether they were by blood or by choice - every possible way. She was honest and had unwavering moral compass. The fame she worked hard for hadn't biased or changed her.
Beck was terrified of his own feelings, belittled what he had with Ava Grace for the sole purpose of protect himself. Even though he had his disappointments in previous relationships I still thought him a bit of a coward and hardheaded. Fortunately he realized his true feelings but not without a timely push from a good friend.
I loved their chemistry but I didn't like the heartache Beck's closed-mindedness caused.
I loved all I learned about whiskey.

I loved the narration. It was utterly enjoyable. Ava Lucas did a great job. Her voice was perfect for Ava Grace's character, matched how it was described in the book. I liked the way she impersonated the different characters with different voices/pitches and/or pace.

Bourbon and Olive Juice

Early in the book, Beck says his and Ava Grace's lives are like Bourbon and Olive Juice, they just don't mix. She proceeds to show him he's wrong. I love his endless supply of Bourbon t-shirts. I also learned that Bourbon can only be made in the U.S. It was a great listen - worth the credit! I'm looking forward to book 2.

Bourbon and Country

This was my first Jenna Sutton's book. This is the first book in the Trinity Distillery Series. The cover is beautiful. This is a sweet and fun story. Ava Grace Landy, a country superstar, and Jonah Beck, owner of the Trinity Bourbon, share a strong chemistry. I liked their story and the Epilogue. The secondary characters are also interesting. The narration was well done. Ava Lucas has a great voice, easy to listen. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

You Had Me at Bourbon

I love finding new to me authors and Jenna Sutton became a new favorite with Barreled Over. Ms. Sutton's writing is polished and smooth and her storyline well-paced and engaging. The characters are wonderful and OMG the banter between Beck and his friends, Gabe and Ren, and Ava Grace with her friends is amazing. This book has the perfect balance of humor, emotion, heartbreak, passion, friendship, and love. Neither Beck or Ava Grace are prepared for what starts as a professional arrangement turns personal. Both of them have secrets that threaten to destroy what they each want but fear won't last. Beck has overcome his past to follow his passion of brewing bourbon. While Ava Grace is one of country music's headliners. One lives in the spotlight and the other hides from it because of his past. Even when they try to stay away from each other, the couple's banter is sensual and sexy. I did not want this book to end, and I am anxiously waiting for more in the Trinity Distilling series.
I listened to Ava Lucas' narration of this amazing book. Her voice transported me into the story, from Ava Grace's Nashville home to Beck's home in California. Her vocal variety added dimension and personal characteristics to each character and the sexy Southern dialect of the main characters made this such an enjoyable listen. I can't wait to listen to more books by this author and Ava Lucas in the future.

I loved it

I loved this story so much. It was my first Jenna Sutton novel and it will not be my last. The characters were delightful and very much likable. Beck and Ava Grace were both well developed complex characters with intense chemistry. The secondary characters were all big supports and greatly added to the story. Relationships played a big part in the novel both romantic relationships and friendship.
The story had some angsty moments, some laugh-out-loud moments, and some downright steamy moments and I enjoyed every moment.
The story was narrated by Ava Lucas. I loved her voice and her portrayal of the different character. The slight accents she was able to add to the various characters really set everyone apart and gave the country feel to the story.
This was an amazing story and a wonderful listening experience and I would highly recommend it.

Who Doesn't Love a Little Bourbon with Their Roman

Every now and again, you read a book that frustrates you… but you love it! That is this book for me!! “Barreled Over” is about Ava Grace, one of country music’s biggest stars, and Jonah Beck (known to friends and family as Beck), son of the family that is synonymous with bourbon. While Ava Grace is battling her record company who wants her top broaden her fan base of just women, with wacky ideas of how to do that, Beck is trying to make a name for himself. Together, they can help each other, and find love at the same time!

Everything about this story is adorable and funny, with great characters. While the two main characters have some not-so-great things in their in past and I understand why they are the way they are, I found myself almost liking the secondary characters more than the main characters. As this is my first book by this author, it felt as though I should already know some of the characters. It didn’t detract from the story, but it did make me wonder if I was missing out.

The chemistry between Ava Grace and Beck is wonderful. They have great banter and the chemistry is instant. What I loved about this book is the bourbon lessons you get! I know it’s not the point of this book, nor is it meant to be the focus, but I thought it was fascinating and a nice addition to the story. With Ava Lucas's narration bringing this story to life, you couldn't go wrong. I am intrigued to see where this series will go, as I enjoyed getting to know Ava Grace and Beck.

Ava and Beck!

Ava Grace is a successful country music singer however the powers that be at her record label have decided that she needs to increase her male fans and she is not happy with the ideas they suggest. When her best friend suggest that she become the spokesperson for Trinity Distillery she believes that it is the solution to her problems.

Beck is the owner of Trinity Distillery and he has experienced the pain that publicity can cause so he prefers to stay far away from the limelight. With Ava Grace as the spokesperson not only will it improve the company image it means he can stay firmly in the background.

Although Beck is very attracted to Ava Grace he knows that he needs to keep his distance as she draws public attention and he detests it but the chemistry becomes too strong to deny. Is there a compromise to be had between two people who want such different things in their lives?

This is my first book by this author but I enjoyed the heat and humor between the two and the supporting characters were great. I thought the narrator did a great job of bringing the story to life. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book from the narrator.
