Publisher's summary

After the wildfires are finally extinguished with the first snowfall, Sequoia begins to heal, especially with the holidays around the corner. Life returns to normal in the Sierra mountain town, with caroling in the streets, sipping hot cocoa by the fire, and preparing for the lighting of the community Christmas tree on Main Street.

However, for Zion and Tate, life is never quite normal. Gabi is still making organ-shaped vases, Logan has changed his major again, and Joe has decided to redo the electrical wiring in the house to provide enough power to run both the kiln and the heat lamps for Gabi’s new pet snake, Saffron.

As if this wasn’t enough, Rebekah enlists Zion to help her plan her wedding, but will the wedding be derailed by a suspicious attack? And worse still, is Rebekah’s fiancé, David Bennett, the main suspect?

Festive Time

I totally enjoy all the characters (they are like family) of Sequoia in this mystery series especially with the narration and was a long wait for this one. In this book the main characters are Zion Sawyer and Tate, as well as Logan, Jaguar, her fun parents who move there and more. This is supposed to be a cheerful Christmas time in Sequoia with costumes and Rebekah and David’s wedding, the opening of Jaguar’s bowling alley but then problems comes along with Brigitta Meszaros Recommend if you enjoy cozy mystery series but suggest you listen from the start to know the characters. Keep them coming. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Thank you

An Awesome Listen

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and extremely enjoyable. It's the Christmas season in Sequoia with snow, a Charles Dickens' themed festival and Rebekah's weding. The town is still healing from the forest fires and finally the tourist have come back to ski. But Rebekah's wedding planner is causing waves with everyone, even the calm David. Both Zion and Tate, need to figure out why the pieces don't fit, before someone dies. As always an awesome story with great characters that makes you laugh and cry, sometimes at the same moment. This combination of author and narrator is just pure enjoyment. Looking forward to the next book.

Great Performance

The story line is good and the performance keeps you involved. I love following characters in a series when the quality of the story and performance are great. I have listened to a number of the Zion Sawyer mysteries and after I listened to Mint Mocha Chip I went back and started Cappuccino again.

Book 8 did not disappoint

I love this narrator's ability to do the different voices. I got lost in the book. Epic scenarios, thrill at guessing the ending. The author knows how to draw a listner in. I received this audio book at no charge and I voluntarily give this review. I look forward to the next book in this series.
