Goose Bumps!
This is the second audiobook of Gillian Mcallister's that I couldn't stop listening to. I finished this in one day! The storyline is so gripping and and so thought provoking at the same time that I came away with goosebumps. She is so good at making you care about the characters! Such a brilliant book!

Really enjoyed it
Usually I guess plots really quickly, and parts of this I did, but mostly I didn’t. It’s a really clever book but it’s easy to keep track of. Really enjoyed it. So much so that I submitted my first review since registering years ago!

Expectations smashed
I downloaded this book thinking I was getting a same-y crime fiction mystery. I was WRONG. I got so much more. The story was great, although it was slightly let down by the last chapter but I can overlook that as I just don’t know how you can end this type of storyline in a satisfying and neat way. The performance was also great - the consistency of the characters was brilliant. I will be listening to this again for sure!

Unusual premise..'hysterical strength' déjà vu..
The strongest of emotions, of a mother wanting to protect her child!...
The story is an interesting concept.... middle of story seemed to go on for soo... long.... to the point where I thought how.many.more 'minus days' are there to come....
Stick with it as it does start to get gripping again towards the last quarter of the book and the end reveal/unravelling..
