Great for Teens

This book is a very good resource for your teens struggling with anxiety and self-esteem. It has really relatable items that can be used by your teens to help them better understand and recognize different types of anxiety and how it affects them in certain situations. Highly recommend it as it is highly educational for young minds.

Looking forward to practicing...

I suffer from anxiety and it feels like the world is going to crash in on your soul! I'm always searching for new techniques to try. My goal is to get off medication and try a natural approach! I loved this book, it didn't make me feel like I am alone dealing with this.

A great help for depressed teens

I read it as a parent with two school-age kids in mind—one starting their second year of high school and the other their first year of junior high—and I underlined many of the advice pieces, especially the mind-body connection, which strikes me as doubly significant the more time teens spend in their "virtual" worlds. I'll keep a copy of this book on hand for myself and our teenagers to refer to all during the academic year.

Helpful steps

As the mom of a teen who experiences anxiety, this book is awesome! We have done of the items discussed with his therapist (such as CBT), but the discussion on mindset and establishing new habits is something that is relatively new to us and I think this will help him in big ways. Excited to try this out as he regains his confidence!

Great Book!

Although I'm not a teenager no more it helped me understand my anxiety and gave me good tips to work on it. I have 2 teenage siblings and I feel like thanks to this book it open my eyes on understanding them more and their anxiety so now I feel like I can actually be a help for them. it's a great book highly recommend it!

Very Useful!

This book offers some useful tips and tricks for teens on how to defeat anxiety. I think they can be used for adults too. I know they work as I have used some of them in the past.

Perfect for teens and adults too

It takes you through 7 different days on how to deal with anxiety. The many testimonies and relatable stories in it, make it very easy to understand and apply. I have listened to this audio book with my teenage kids, and we have found it very useful. Even as an adult I have also benefitted from listening in with my kids. I will definitely recommend this audiobook!

not just for teens- good for young adults too!

I have a 14-year-old nephew that struggles with anxiety. It is a constant barrier in his life that he is struggling to overcome. No one in my family battles anxiety, so it's difficult for us to understand.

This book helped me understand what it was like being in my nephew's shoes- I never truly understood how much he struggled until I listened to this audiobook. I grew up with the notion that anxiety was just something that you should "just get over." But boy, was I WRONG!

Tips and tricks explained throughout this book are both practical and easy to implement. I love there's a good amount of options that include going out to nature and mediation. Im big on nature and meditation, so this will be something that I can do regularly with my nephew!

I can't wait to see him this weekend so that I can implement some of the tricks I've learned!

P.S.- Even if you're not a teenager with anxiety, this book can help you if you're a college student preparing for a stressful test or even an athlete getting ready for their next game!

Wish I had this in my teen years!

As someone who struggled with anxiety and self-confidence in high school, I often indulge in books like these, even now, in my 20s, to add to my arsenal of tricks. I definitely wish I had this in high school! It walks you through a proven system to overcome anxiety and get your life back. Highly recommend to all teenagers!
