It's the dawn of a new age....

Secrets—you know my family is founded on them.

You just don’t know how much they’re suffocating us.

Lies—my marriage hinges on one.

You know that I chose to protect the wrong woman.

I kept the past buried like a coward. Now, I feel the constraints of my choices like they’re a chokehold.

I know that it’s time to tell my wife the truth.

It’s time to deal with the consequences of my actions.

Aoife deserves to be my judge, jury, and executioner.

If she burns down the house with me in it, well, that’s on me and my filthy secrets….

This is Aoife O’Grady’s story....

Unbelievably perfect!

I don’t think I have ever been this engrossed in a book, audio or otherwise and that’s saying a lot as I read on average 500 books a year.

The narrators were all wonderful, the only semi negative thing is that this wasn’t a duet, or whatever a group of this many narrators would be called. Only during one of Connor and Stars conversation was it a true duet which I prefer. Regardless they were all great.
The story… I felt like I wanted to take notes with so many story lines that intersected but true to this author, she kept things straight for us. Filthy Secrets was the perfect name for this book. Intrigue, suspense, love, betrayal, heartbreak, honor, familial bonds breaking and becoming more solid than ever. Of course it’s steamy, and funny, and so sad at times but this family always comes together to support each other no matter what. I love this series, love the crossover with the MC and the latest addition of the new Don and his Lady. Never before have I read a interconnected crossover series of this magnitude or one done as well as these. I hate to think it will ever end. Worth a credit or the price.

Great continuation, but…

Aoife is doing the most in this story. And not in a good way. I understand some of her behavior, however she really drags some already broken people through the mud. To me, she came across heartless and cruel at times. I just couldn’t root to have her actions and words result in a HEA. Not when her husband has such a traumatic/terrible past and his lies (which he copped to on his own) were told so he could hold on to the only happy thing he’s had in life. I dunno. I bought the next book, so ::fingers crossed::. I thought this one was good, not great. Narration was on point.

Oh what a tangled web Serena Akeroyd has woven

This is an awesome recording of an awesome book. The story fills in some of the blanks from the previous books, and continues the saga. The end is unexpected and wrenching as well as a cliffhanger. The marriage of Finn and Aoife is tested, beliefs of all the characters ( and they are all in this one) are shaken and we are set up for the last three books. The main characters have their own narrators who all do a great job. Bravo to all.

Yep, lots of secrets revealed but we didn’t need so much Aoife ugh

Finally finished the book… it took me for-ever!

While secrets were revealed and Finn was such a delicious man; Aoife, who started beautifully became such a winch! I couldn’t stand her POV anymore. It was like she forgot where she came from and acted like she was a dumb spoiled rich girl 😩yeah, yeah, I know what happened but punishing finn and acting like a petulant child was like listening nails on a chalkboard… the extra POVs were good because I started resenting Finn…

Anyway, if you’re doing the series, don’t miss this one, there’s a lot going on but no answers… I’m guessing they’re in the next book… I just hope we don’t see Finn’s wife anymore… so over that…
I guess I’m more annoyed since I just finished a book with a kickass FMC…

A lot of turmoil, in this book!

This book had scenes that included the entire family. Each chapter changed characters, therefore, you had to pay attention to keep up with what was happening.

There were a lot of scenes that had been experienced in other books, however, the scenes in this book came from a different perspective or added details not revealed, before.

There were more sad scenes then happy but, that would fit this world.

Anxious for Conner’s story next!

Great series

Pulls you in, the whole series. Really enjoyed listening to this one. Everything comes together. I am looking forward to the rest. One thing that bothered me is the mispronunciation of “tabernac” in chapter 43. Especially when followed by an explanation it is a Québécois word. The actor really should have done a quick Google search on that. But that’s a very small thing. Great series.

Wow!

This book focused on Finn and Aoife. I like both of these characters and it was good to have an update on their relationship and little family.

There were already a lot of unanswered questions surrounding Aoife’s parents. I was glad that this book answered so many
questions about the ongoing storyline. And in a really interesting way.

Narration was really amazing! So many great narrators all together!
