Publisher's summary

Veteran player Gage Heyward retired from the league following a successful career. Now the Titans need him, but does he have what it takes to get back on the ice and pull this team together?

After achieving the goals I set for myself, I walked away from my professional hockey career. It was a tough decision, but the right one at the time. When the Titans organization approached me about joining the team they were rebuilding following a devastating plane crash, I felt a passion for the game and a competitive spirit I hadn’t felt in years. The opportunity to make a huge difference to a lot of people spoke to me, and I accepted their offer and headed to Pittsburgh without a second thought.

Jenna Holland is also new to town, having moved from Phoenix to Pittsburgh to take a job with the Titans. Her past has left her with scars—both physical and emotional—and she’s slow to trust others. But the more I learn about Jenna, the more I want to know. The more I need to know. Because the beautiful blonde with honey gold eyes and a wall around her heart has me enamored.

My game on the ice is the best it’s ever been, but it’s my game off the ice I’m focused on these days. Because while Jenna may not be willing to take a chance, I know the potential is there for something big. Something life-changing. Now I just need to convince her to take the shot.

Gage

Gage and Jenna
I loved this one; I liked how awesome Gage is. I think he would be an awesome coach no joke he just gets it. He loves the game and he knows what the guys need to perform at their best.
Coming back from retirement isn’t something he ever wanted but he wanted to support this team because of everything they have been through.

Jenna is new to Pittsburgh and she is in a new job she loves but her scares hold her back, but she is blooming with the attention of her boss and Gage. I kinda of loved that.
It’s not easy but she is thriving.
These two together it’s sweet and I love the way Gage is with her and how she is with him. Trust and love shines through.

I think this might be my favorite narration duo Lance and Virginia are favourite's of mine.

It’s OK

This is the third book in this series and honestly I didn’t really think there was much to this one. The most interesting part of this story did not even have to do with the couple. It had to do with Cohen. It is a very similar build to tacker from the last series. The problem is that the build to tacker was better than his story because his story wasn’t very good so based on that all I do not have very high hopes for when his book comes out. The characters came off very bland and boring from the beginning. When Gage meets Jenna he tells her that it wasn’t her scars but he found her eyes to be captivating and then actually wonders if that could have come off as flirting. How old is telling someone that they have captivating eyes not come off as flirting? Out of the three books so far only the second one was even a little good. It was actually better than a little good. So far I am not blown away by the Pittsburgh series. I think the vengeance overall was definitely much much better. Here’s hoping that this series gets better as it goes along.

Loved loved loved

I absolutely loved Gages story. It was refreshing have imperfect and tea jars tees and reading through al their feelings. The author did an amazing job with her backstory and moving through all the steps with her scars and her Personal growth to get there.

Also so delightful with the appearance of characters from prior books and I can’t wait to read more about the other team members.

The narrators had the most perfect voices and delivered real characters and brought the perfect amount of life into them to make them even more real in my mind.

Fantastic addition to this new series!!

Amazing story brought to life with the narrating skills of Virginia and Lance. I absolutely loved it. These characters, Gage and Jenna were meant to be!! I loved their story and how Gage was able to bring Jenna out of her shell she was kind of hiding in due to her scars. Brianne helped too. I hope she gets a story in this series too. Can’t wait for more of the Pittsburgh Titans.

Gage

I have one problem with this book: Gage might just be too perfect :)

Swoony to the max Gage seriously brings everything you could ever want in a book boyfriend. So perfect for Jenna, who has a story that just grips your heart and doesn't let go. This whole story was so full of deep, wonderful emotions that you find yourself laughing, crying, and cheering right along with the characters. I can't wait to see what Sawyer has up her sleeve for the rest of this series!

Beautiful Story!

This is the third book in the Pittsburgh Titans Series, a spin-off of the Arizona Vengeance series. I loved Gage and Jenna's story. Their story is beautifully written, heartwarming, and filled with drama, and romance. Gage is very handsome, caring, and protective. Jenna is so strong and beautiful. They are perfect together. Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Coen, the next book in the series. I highly recommend this series!

The hottest retiree

Gage is the latest installment of the Pittsburgh Titans series by Sawyer Bennett. The premise of the series is a plane crash that impacts an entire hockey team, and the rebuilding of that team.
Gage came out of retirement to help his team after the tragedy. Jenna we met earlier in the series, and she was in a horrific fire and her body carries the scars of that battle. Honestly, if you’ve ever had a serious burn you understand just how painful they are. I could never image being burned over large areas, and the painful recovery that it would be necessary.
This is a low angst and low drama edition to the series, and it’s a welcome breather in the series. We watch the relationship between Gage and Jenna develop, and it’s a hot and steamy ride.
The story line and character development was written, and I am enjoying this new series that has more depth that Sawyer Bennett’s other Hockey series.
Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose are top notch narrators, and both give a wonderful performance. When it comes to an audio book, excellent narrators are everything.

The perfect couple...Gage & Jenna

Gage is the true definition of a gentleman; he's compassionate, somewhat protective and loyal to those he cares about, This is just the kind of man Jenna needs. After suffering horrific burns to her back, butt and legs and hiding her scars behind scarfs and turtle necks, Gage sees her real strength and encourages her let her true self show. Not only is Gage there for Jenna, he's also there for his teammates as they try to rebuild after the devastating plane crash.

The third story in the Pittsburgh Titans series. It's a wonderful story!

Swoontastic

Sawyer Bennett once again wrote a romance that brought all the emotion and heart to her story. It was low angst filled with loads of swoony romance. I mean every woman needs a Gage in their life to encourage and hold you up. Jenna was a strong woman that went through something so tragic but over come her fears and came out with a spectacular happily ever after in the end.

Lance Greenfield and Virginia Rose made you feel the connection Gage and Jenna had. They made reading more enjoyable making you feel all the emotions. Virginia made you feel the insecurities Jenna had and Lance gave Gage that swoon to make you fall even harder.

This was a great book that captivated me with low angst and drama for a smooth enjoyable listen.
