Publisher's summary

A see yourself out note isn't how you want to celebrate the morning after your first one-night stand.

The first time I meet Archer Callahan is when I block him in a parking spot.

The second is a fender bender.

The third is at a bar, drinking away our problems, and finding our way to his bed.

I never expected to see him again.

That changes when a month later, he's introduced as my brother's new business partner.

In need of a job, I'm hired at their bar, much to Archer's dismay.

We hate each other.

We're off-limits.

But every time we're together, flashbacks of that night shake through us.

We push, we pull, until one of us breaks.

Fantastic

Archer and Georgia first encounter is one to remember. A fender bender leading to drinks and then a one night stand. However he is not who he said he is and not long later they meet again but Archer is now Georgia’s brother, Cohen (from Stirred, book one) new business partner to open the bar, Twisted Fox. When Georgia is in desperate need of a job Cohen hires her at the bar and her and Archer now have to work in close proximity.

These two are a vibe. There is so much tension and animosity in the beginning. He lied about who he is, and she just doesn’t let it down. She is sassy and strong willed. She’s everything we like to see in a strong heroine. Archer is broken. His family is a disaster and he just wants away from the drama.

I love the flirtation and angst that was brought between these two. There was a perfect amount of push and pull. Their whole development was fantastic.

I listened to the audio and really loved these narrators (Aiden Snow & CJ Bloom) to bring these characters to life.

This book is great!

This is a must read!!!
I absolutely loved this book so much.
These characters are some of the best characters I have read. The broken man and the sassy woman. You have to love a story when it ends in a HEA.
But Archer and Georgia will leave you breathless and wanting more of this world. The chemistry with the characters and even the secondary characters is off the charts.
I had to stay up all night to read this book since I couldn't stop reading.

Archer has become my favorite character!!! But that seems to change with every new book that Charity writes.
But the love in this book is epic!!!

Cute

I am loving the twisted fox series! I love how this is an independent story but intertwines with the first book.

Narrators are much better than book one!

This book has better narrators than the first in the series and for that I’m grateful. The other took away from my enjoyment of the story. That being said, I enjoyed Shaken much more. Had just the right amount is spice. 4 stars all around.

So well done!!

I have to say that Aiden Snow and CJ Bloom did an amazing job in bringing Shaken to life. Charity did an amazing job in writing the story but it is so enhanced by this audiobook.

Amazing in audio!

Talk about pulling at your heart strings! Archer just broke me page after page...so much angst! I just wanted to wrap him up and never let go! Him and Georgia together were perfect! Aiden Snow and CJ Bloom did a fantastic job of bringing these two broken people to life! The ooze chemistry and I had chills listening to this story. I love when audio enhances a story, and these two did just that! An amazing listen for an amazing book that everyone should get today!

It Takes A LONG Time For Them To Finally Get Together . . .

Okay, let me just say this: THIS should have been Book 1 of the series!! Let me know if anyone else thought that . . . It was WAY better than the REAL Book 1 was! It went into a LOT more detail than Book 1 ever did, and was way better written, too. Now, that being said, it wasn’t 5 worth, either (that’s why I only gave it 4 stars 😉). It started off great; I really liked Georgia’s (the main female lead) upbeat personality and all her sassiness. And even Archer (the male lead) (although he WAS a jerk, but I knew there had to be a reason for his “jerk-iness”), too. BUT it took a LONG time for him to stop being such a jerk; WAY too long, in my opinion. It got to the point when he was down-right mean to Georgia, even cruel unnecessarily to her. I’m not saying that he physically abusive to her or anything. (Don’t worry, he wasn’t.) Let me give an example that really made me mad (and I don’t really consider this much of a Spoiler Alert or anything in saying this, don’t worry): towards the middle of the book, Georgia & Archer (along with their friends) go to a dance club to celebrate their friend’s birthday, and a perfectly nice, respectful guy (at least he didn’t give us (the reader) any reason to believe otherwise in this one, short exchange they had) asked Georgia if she would like to dance . . . Well, right as she was about to say “yes” to the guy, Archer comes up and basically “shoos” him away from her in NOT a very nice way at all. I just about gave up and quit the book at that point. Yes, I know that that made Archer jealous, but he had NO right to do that! I mean, sure, if the guy was being inappropriate with Georgia or something, then yeah, okay, but he wasn’t!! He was perfectly NICE, as I said!! I found myself saying, “Archer, back the *freak* off!! She doesn’t BELONG to you!!” (I use *freak* to avoid cussing in this review, but you get the idea. 😅) I also found myself yelling at Georgia, saying, “Georgia, move on!! He’s NOT worth it!! Go dance with the nice guy if you want!!” But, of course, she didn’t . . . 😒 I mean, I KNOW I’m support to be ROUTING for them since this is a Romance novel, but I found it EXTREMELY hard to do towards the middle of the book. As I said, I ALMOST quit reading the book!! Also, it took a LONG time for us (the reader) to know exactly WHY Archer was so cruel to Georgia. Maybe if we (the reader) KNEW why Archer was like the way he was earlier in the novel, I wouldn’t have had such a hard time routing for the guy (and the couple) . . . Anyway, that’s what I thought of the novel . . . Though it took WAY long for Archer to become the “good guy”, the guy worth routing for, in the end, it WAS better than Book 1! 😊 And now I'm looking forward to Book 3: Lincoln (Archer's brother) & Cassidy's story!! Let's hope Lincoln isn't such a jerk-face in his story . . . ! 😅

A repeat offender on my MUST READ list.

Under your skin and into your heart stays forever on your mind. Ferrell is repeat offender on my MUST READ list. She speaks to that hidden piece of self-doubt and inspires it to become an ember of hope. Georgia and Archer continue my infatuation with the Twisted Fox series. They dare to be vulnerable, have to be frustrating and refuse to be forgotten.
