Amazing 😍😍

I loved cruel intentions as a book, but it’s even better in audio 😍

I’ll be honest , some audiobooks can ruin even my favourite reads, but this did not..

This is my favourite audiobook to date ..
Carly and tor did this book proud ..
I can’t wait to dive into the second book now..

It’s been amazing diving back into this world again .

The story flowed so effortlessly, I didn’t even realise how quick almost 12 hrs can go .

An intense audio experience.

I have read a few books by Siobhan Davis and each has done their romance niche justice. I couldn’t wait to listen Cruel Intentions. This is the first book in the Rydeville High Elite series, and the series is off to a great start.
This is a dark story so I would be remis if I didn't say that my review comes with a trigger warning for abuse and very dark behaviour.

This was darker than my usual read, but that didn’t detract from my enjoyment. This book has some complex and unpleasant characters. It has a feisty female lead in Abby and a great story-line.

The plot was really gritty and intense, I was completely immersed in the story and felt quite the myriad of emotions. To me this is the sign of a really good book. If it doesn’t evoke a reaction then it hasn’t drawn you into it’s world.

Ms Davis’ always manage to grab me early on and then spit me out emotionally wrung out at the end of then story. Seriously she is one of the authors that takes me into the book, out of reality and bam! Burned dinner and angry family members.

A good book means a take-away or two in this house and Ms Davis is costing me a small fortune.

Now for my gripe! Yes folks, I can strongly recommend Cruel Intentions but there is one of those pesky cliff-hangers. However, still worth it!

While I read this book in arc form when it was released I have recently purchased the audiobooks in the series and asap stuck my headphones in and listened and listening was a different experience. The audio version made a huge impact, the shocks were more shocking and the intensity was amped up. (I love reading and this book did pack a punch initially) It took me a while to get used to the audiobook style. While I often listen to books with two narrators they tend to go a chapter at a time but in this audio version the male vocals were voiced by the male narrator and the female voices by the female narrator. Once I got used to it I was all in with the story and the characters. I am blown away by the vocal talents of Carly Robins and Tor Thom. They didn't read the story, they acted it and delivered a brilliant performance that really was an intense ride. Now onto book two

Wonderful story!

If I loved the book when it came out, I love the audiobook even more!! Amazing story, hot, angst and that ending leave you wanting more and more. Love every book Siobhan has written, can’t recommend them enough!! Can’t wait to listen to the next audiobook! ❤️❤️

I am totally blown away🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Omg this book....wow where to begin. The fire, the passion, the hate, the pull, the lies, the deceet, the tension, and chemistry of these two is pure🔥🔥🔥. This book is jam packed with so much going on that I just couldn’t put it down! So many twists and turns and that ending has me hitting the download button for book 2 faster than it ever has before💕❤️The only downside is the male narrator just isn’t right for Camdon, I felt it should have been a younger male given that he is only in his teens. The female narrator though was just perfect👌

One word ‘wow’

Wow the audio was even better than when I read it the first time and it is one of my new favourite series.

Addictive from start to finish.. an amazing cliff hanger which I am so excited to see where next book begins.

I loved Cam and Abby.. OMG the feels for them. Even when he was mean I loved him, couldn’t help it! Jackson so funny and would love to know his story.

It a must read it you love angst, angry men, strong heroine, mix emotions and confusion your in for a ride with this book!!!!

Loved the book... the audible added to my love

Originally read the Rydeville Elite books on my kindle and loved them so much that I had to listen to the audible version and it did not disappoint! This is the first audible I have listened to and I found it gave the characters more depth in my head as it gave them a voice! This is the first book of 3 in the Rydeville Elite series and it is seriously hot with many twists and unexpected turns and ends on a major cliff hanger! The characters are amazing and the storyline is gripping!! Can’t wait to listen to book 2

Best guilty pleasure, ever!

One of my favorite stories is Dangerous Liaisons, and Cruel Intentions reminds me of it. You have characters that practically melt the pages, but their ability to maim with their words and deeds is palpable.

I love the way Siobhan Davis culminates these characters with twists and turns throughout the plot.

If I had to describe it in one phrase, its chemistry with a side of cruelty.

This book is delicious on Audible as narration really gives this story added pop.
