Publisher's summary

Up until two years ago, I was living large and my life's priorities were anchored to three things - my NBA stardom, money and celebrity. I was also a colossal dick.

Until one night turned my world upside down and I suffered unspeakable loss. That event changed the man I was and made me a widowed single father. Now I'm a desperate parent trying to raise my special needs son and find him a trustworthy live-in nanny.

Grad student Brooklyn Hayes may be the one, with her single-minded focus on caring for my son and finishing her Master's degree. She's the perfect fit for our needs.

Maybe too perfect...with her bright smile, nurturing kindness and gentle touch. Caleb isn't the only one who's fallen for her. I don't know when or how it happened, but she changed the game for me. Turning my losing streak into a winning second half.

Contains mature themes.

Sweet and sexy

The storyline is entirely believable: Garrett is a former NBA star-turned-college basketball coach who needs a nanny for his special needs son. Brooklyn is a master's psychology student specializing in developmental challenges due to special needs and pediatric brain injuries. Both characters are believable, within their own spheres and with their conflicting feelings for each other.

I appreciate the research that went into developing the character of Garrett's son, Caleb, as well as the approaches Brooklyn takes to connect with the little boy.

If you're looking for a solid storyline with steamy moments, check out Game Changer, as well as Sierra Hill's other novels.

Regarding the narration: Tor Thom and Elizabeth Hart deliver solid performances. However, the narration was a little too slow for me. I sped up my audio a little and enjoyed it more.

Easy listen. Cute store.

It was a very simple store. Easy to listen to while doing other things. The male narrator has a sexy deep voice for an older hunk. But didn’t feel it fit this character. But overall cute store. Similar to so many other’s.

Umm, not so good

Rapid Insta Lust should be the title. Not much character development, Hero kept walking away from hetoine when emotions got involve. And then, BAM!, one short declaration of a come to Jesus moment of enlightenment on the hero's part and the smart, raised by a feminist mother heroine has a implosion in her brain and she is in lust/love and ready to drop her panties.
Performance for both narrators was a 3.
