Summary
The small Connecticut town of Sanctuary is rocked by the death of its star quarterback.
Daniel's death looked like an accident, but everyone knows his ex-girlfriend Harper is the daughter of a witch - and she was there when he died.
Then the rumours start. When Harper insists Dan was guilty of a terrible act, the town turns on her. So was his death an accident, revenge - or something even darker?
As accusations fly and secrets are revealed, paranoia grips the town, culminating in a trial that the whole world is watching....

Good
Not sure what to think at the beginning but I persevered and it was good. Would thoroughly recommend.

it is an ok story
believably brings magic into the real world and really made me see how the witchcraft hysteria of our history led to so many people being persecuted. i was interested in the story and wanted to find out what happened. and there was a bit of an enjoyable twist at the end. but this recording was completely ruined for me by the voice of Sarah, every time it was her turn to narrate i was grinding my teeth! at first the sing song - don't give a damn cadence was quite interesting you would think that a witch secure her magic may talk like that. but her voice never changed - when she found out all the terrible things that were happening and all the really difficult situations she had to deal with it never changed, barely showed emotion and it was irritating beyond belief
