Publisher's summary

With his professional football career over due to a tragic accident, billionaire Kade Harrison takes on the task of solving a mystery for his brother-in-law and friend, Max Hamilton. But what starts out as a simple favor soon becomes a whole lot more than he bargained for when the woman he's seeking slips away from him every time he gets close to finding her. Asha Paritala is nothing like he expected, and the female he had tracked down as a favor for Max soon becomes a woman he wants for his very own, a woman who makes protective and highly predatory instincts he didn't know he had flare to life inside him. Can Kade convince her that some things are worth risking it all?

Caught between two worlds, Asha Paritala is homeless, broke and damaged from a life of abuse and neglect. Born of an American mother and an Indian immigrant father, Asha was raised as an Indian woman by a foster family after the death of her natural parents when she was little more than a baby. She's spent her entire life under the control of others until finally breaking free two years earlier, and she's determined to keep her freedom, even if it means she has to struggle to survive. But when she meets Kade Harrison, her resolve is tested. After Kade helps her through a bad situation, she finds herself beginning to trust Kade as she's never trusted a man before. Asha is tempted by the possibility of family, and the irresistible lure of a man like Kade Harrison. Can a woman caught between two cultures, so flawed and so backward, really reach out and take what she wants, or will the instinct to run from the pain of her past destroy the hope of happiness for her future?

Find out if two broken souls can heal each other in The Billionaire's Game, Book 4 of The Billionaire's Obsession series! This is a complete novel with no cliffhangers. Eighteen-plus due to sexual situations and graphic language.

Past deMons

This story holds so many truths, while we my not have pasts like Kade and Asher we all hold demons that change our thought process and manipulate the way we feel. This story explores them beautifully while still managing to be sexy and page turning at the same time.

The narrator added so much depth to the characters that brought the story off the page and into the real world as you listened... I can't wait to listen to more.

Billionaire's Game-Kade

Yet another great read with characters you'd love to have as friends &/or family. I also love how even though they have more money than the average person can even comprehend, the family still holds the family time at home to be most important. I'm running out of compliments that don't sound made up. I'm enjoying this series a lot more than I anticipated.

Great Read

The Billionaire's Game: Kade was another great read by J.S. Scott. This is book four in the Billionaire's Obsession series. Kade Harrison is a billionaire who's football career ended with a terrible and tragic accident. His brother-in-law Max, asked him to solve a mystery for him about his potential sister. Unfortunately it isn't as easy as he thinks it will be when Asha slips away from him. He also didn't expect to fall for Asha. I loved reading Kade and Asha's story and can't wait to read more by J.S. Scott. Elizabeth Powers did a great job of narrating the book so that you fall in love with the characters.

Truly a great story!

I loved this one, it had a sad horrible storyline, but love and hot sex prevailed and made it all better. Don’t miss this one.

The Billionaire's Game

Oh my hottness! Kade is all that and more! He is doing a favor for Max, his brother-in-law, looking for Asha, who Max believes is another sister. He chases her across the country until finally he tracks her down and takes her belongings until she contacts him. Asha does not trust easily, she has not had an easy life and it takes her quite a while to come to grips with the fact she may have family. Kade finally convinces her to return with him to Florida. Great story how it unfolds. We get to know a little about her Indian heritage and watching her and Kade and the rest of the family learn to give her what she needs to grow. Definitely want to read the previous books for continuity but this could be read as a standalone.

Sweet and sexy

While not entirely unpredictable, I’m nonetheless thoroughly enjoying this series. In this book we have Kade and Asha. Asha has been through abusive hell in her life, first with a foster family, then with her now ex-husband, but since she was raised in a very traditional Indian foster family, she didn’t realize how bad it really was. Kade was used to being with women who just wanted his fame and money, his last girlfriend dumping him when an accident ended his very high profile football career. But the minute he sees Asha, who he is searching for as a favor to Max because he may be Max and Maddie’s half sister, he’s immediately smitten. Asha has been barely scraping by since she left her abusive husband, living in shelters and doing the best she could to survive. She’s definitely physically drawn to Kade, not to mention that she even loves his crazy shirts! But her conservative and strict life has her very confused about what she is feeling. I enjoyed seeing how Asha became closer with Max and Maddie and how she slowly let herself go with Kade. And seeing Kade’s alpha male possessive side was very hot. I also really love getting so see little snippets into the lives of the characters we got to know well in earlier books. It makes the whole tight knit feel that much stronger, and it’s fun to continue to see the interactions they have. It’s also fun to meet new characters that I know will feature prominently in future books, starting to get a glimpse into their lives earlier on. Overall, a great, steamy read.

Excellent read

Loved the Billionaire series. Each book gives a look back on what is going on with past characters while having a great story of its own.

Darkness steps into the light.

Instant attraction, long lost family and dangerous secrets took a huge bite out of my heart. Darkness steps into the light. Kade and Ash take a heartbreaking foray into forever. The Billionaire's Game is a new beginning for a woman in transition. Kade is thrust into the path of love and his life will never be the same. The Obsession series is an addictive look at heartache, romance and family that gets deep into the soul. Scott and Powers set hearts racing, tears flowing and hormones raging in the most delightful way.

That was Not What I Expected

Sometimes when you're reading a series of standalones like this, you come into a new book with a bit of a preconceived notion. Maybe not how the plot will go necessarily, but how certain characters will be, certainly. I'd be looking forward to this one, since Kade has been a favorite side character. I love his crazy shirts, his casual attitude, and his general view toward life. I figured this love story was going to be a whole lot of fun.

Well, it is a good story, but I didn't get the Kade I was looking forward to. In fact, at times, the apha-bossy over-protective version of him we got was not enjoyable to me at all. But he had some growing to do, and he did it well. Asha was a unique character with her own brand of issues. Together they had quite a mountain to climb. But it made a unique and beautiful story.
