Publisher's summary

With his professional football career over due to a tragic accident, billionaire Kade Harrison takes on the task of solving a mystery for his brother-in-law and friend, Max Hamilton. But what starts out as a simple favor soon becomes a whole lot more than he bargained for when the woman he's seeking slips away from him every time he gets close to finding her. Asha Paritala is nothing like he expected, and the female he had tracked down as a favor for Max soon becomes a woman he wants for his very own, a woman who makes protective and highly predatory instincts he didn't know he had flare to life inside him. Can Kade convince her that some things are worth risking it all?

Caught between two worlds, Asha Paritala is homeless, broke and damaged from a life of abuse and neglect. Born of an American mother and an Indian immigrant father, Asha was raised as an Indian woman by a foster family after the death of her natural parents when she was little more than a baby. She's spent her entire life under the control of others until finally breaking free two years earlier, and she's determined to keep her freedom, even if it means she has to struggle to survive. But when she meets Kade Harrison, her resolve is tested. After Kade helps her through a bad situation, she finds herself beginning to trust Kade as she's never trusted a man before. Asha is tempted by the possibility of family, and the irresistible lure of a man like Kade Harrison. Can a woman caught between two cultures, so flawed and so backward, really reach out and take what she wants, or will the instinct to run from the pain of her past destroy the hope of happiness for her future?

Find out if two broken souls can heal each other in The Billionaire's Game, Book 4 of The Billionaire's Obsession series! This is a complete novel with no cliffhangers. Eighteen-plus due to sexual situations and graphic language.

Billionare series

I like the stories in the Billionare series however , all the sex in all the books are almost verbatim . This is very disappointing, not to mention they all say the F#! $ word in the story so much, it gets very old. I like the characters, but as far as originality on the the sexual side of it, im sad to say its redundant and not original .

A winner!!

Each time I think I have decided on a favourite billionaire in this awesome series, JS Scott creates another that rivals it!!! OMG!!! Kade Harrison is the PERFECT alpha male with stormy blue eyes, a sexy wall of muscled perfection and pure testosterone just emanating from him! As with all of Ms. Scott's heroes, Kade was protective and possessive especially over Asha! I loved Asha as a heroine - her constant mantras (survive, succeed, you are worthy) brought such an important message in her journey of overcoming what she had perceived was her culture's norm. This was hands down one of my favourite books in this series! 5 "I love Kade's colourful shirts" stars!!!

Emotional, healing and unexpected

Book 4 in the Billionaire's Obsession series focuses on Kade and Asha. Kade is tasked with finding Asha for his brother-in-law, Max.

Max and Asha are siblings that had very different adoption/fostering experiences. Asha's foster family was very strict and controlling, and literally sold her into marriage. She's been left with emotional and physical scars, and she has a very hard time accepting help, accepting compassion, accepting love, after a lifetime of being treated as property and a servant rather than a child or spouse.

Kade is drawn to Asha immediately, and he really wants to help her get on her feet, realize her worth, and experience true love and family. They journey together is very well-written and sensitive.

Excellent read

Loved the Billionaire series. Each book gives a look back on what is going on with past characters while having a great story of its own.

That was Not What I Expected

Sometimes when you're reading a series of standalones like this, you come into a new book with a bit of a preconceived notion. Maybe not how the plot will go necessarily, but how certain characters will be, certainly. I'd be looking forward to this one, since Kade has been a favorite side character. I love his crazy shirts, his casual attitude, and his general view toward life. I figured this love story was going to be a whole lot of fun.

Well, it is a good story, but I didn't get the Kade I was looking forward to. In fact, at times, the apha-bossy over-protective version of him we got was not enjoyable to me at all. But he had some growing to do, and he did it well. Asha was a unique character with her own brand of issues. Together they had quite a mountain to climb. But it made a unique and beautiful story.

I loved it!

This series just keeps getting better and better. Not only is The Billionaire's Game full of steamy romance, but it is also loaded with heart, compassion, and healing. Kade and Asha's story teaches the power confronting past demons and standing strong to beat back and defeat them. I love the journey this book took me on. Asha's new-found strength and self confidence is both heart-warming and inspiring. I definitely recommend listening to this audiobook.

You can’t change the past but you can pick parts o

Giving it 4.5 stars

Kade is helping his brother-in-law, Max Hamilton, find his half sister. Max was adopted when he was a baby and has been looking for any siblings he might have. He found Maddie, who is married to his friend Sam Hudson. Kade was unprepared to discover that the elusive sister to be one unforgettable and beautiful Asha. Kade has his work in front of him to get Asha to trust him since her past has taught her not to trust anyone.

Asha did not have the best of childhoods. Orphaned and raised by foster Indian parents who were not loving or affectionate. Asha was brought up in the traditional ways and always felt she was not good enough. Asha’s arranged marriage to a cruel and heartless man was worse than her foster home. Asha knew she had to get out before it was too late.

Kade and Asha are two people searching for a purpose and both have pasts they want to forget. Unfortunately, they are letting their past define who they are now. The chemistry between them was unexpected but they discover they need each other to heal and move on.

I read the ebook but the audio gave it intensity and depth.
