Publisher's summary

The Arizona Vengeance are developing a reputation on the ice as one of hockey’s top teams. But one player’s reputation off the ice might just keep him from scoring....

I’m having the time of my life with my new brothers on the Arizona Vengeance. We may be an expansion team, but after notching some big wins, the entire league knows to watch out for Erik Dahlbeck. That’s me.

The only person who doesn’t seem to think I’m so great? Blue Gardner, the hot-as-f--k flight attendant on our team plane. I sure wouldn’t mind joining the mile-high club with her, but besides bringing me lukewarm coffee, she won’t give me the time of day. Whatever I did to rub Blue the wrong way my teammates think is hilarious. After all, we’re used to women flocking to us. #puckbunnies.

When I run into Blue back on land, I’m shocked to learn how she spends her time off: taking care of her handicapped brother. There are layers to this girl I never imagined, layers I can’t wait to peel away. And that’s a new feeling for me.

But first, I’ve got to find a way to melt that ice-cold stare. Because as much as I try to pretend I don’t care what Blue thinks of me, how can you not care when you’re falling for someone?

More HOCKEY PLS

After I finished Bishop I grabbed Erik right away because I wanted more of this Hockey world. Erik and Blue and there back and forth it is what I love about romance.

The banter, and then we find out why and it’s sweet and sad all at the same time. No, I won’t be giving you the spoilers just know that these two have a lot to work through and come out the other side better for it.

I love love that Erik got how important Blue’s brother was to her. It wasn’t a ploy or anything it was just who Erik is. I love that so much.
In this book, we learn more about the other players and I am so so looking forward to more books, there is one I can’t freaking wait for.

The narration was fabulous, then again I am a Jason Clarke fan. Hello, Ava Erickson kills it as well, she is again one of my favorites so it’s a no-brainer to snag this audio.

Second Chance at True Love!

Blue Gardner is focused on taking care of her brother, who is special needs. When she took the job as a Flight Attendant with the Arizona Vengeance organization, she didn’t know that she would encounter someone from her past. A person that she loathes and doesn’t want anything to do with. She is forced to interact with him. What infuriates her the most is that he doesn’t remember her…
Erik Dahlbeck is a force to be reckoned with on the ice, but, he is getting nowhere with Blue Gardner. He doesn’t know why she can’t stand the sight of him and no matter how nice he is, she won’t give him the time of day. He decides on a different approach and finally she talks to him. What he learns about her has him intrigued. When he learns that he has in fact met her before, he wants a do over. Little did he know that his do over, will change life as he knows it!
The Good: This was an all-around feel good story. It made you root for the underdog in the hopes that he will get a chance to prove that he’s not a complete douche.
The Bad: I hated when Blue beat herself down after not answering her phone when her brother’s caretakers called. I mean, stuff happens and he was ok, but, because of the past, Blue blamed herself and her brother being mad at her didn’t help.
The Ugly: The breakup was ugly. It was unnecessary and the way Blue treated Erik was wrong. In this instance, she was so very wrong.
This story was full of unrequited love and second chances. The feelings these two had for each other were tangible and addicting. They were pure magic in their love making and they truly made one another a better person. Erik met Blue at what stage she was in her life. He didn’t try to change her for his needs. He instead, changed himself to be who she needed to finally let someone shoulder her burdens. Her inability to process a situation causes friction, a broken heart, and animosity. Will they find their way back to each other and will she finally see that she can have it all. Love does conquer all, but, what if you don’t allow love to show you the truth? I highly recommend this new series by Sawyer Bennett and get lost in the world of the Arizona Vengeance. Solid 5 Star Read!

Wow...absolutely wonderful!!!! 💕💕💕

I loved this story, I love this series and I love Jason Clarke. Jason has such a deep sultry voice when he narrates. You can feel his passion. I liked the character Blue most of the time when she wasn't pushing Erik away. He was so good to Blue.

Adding in the part of the story with Blue having such a heavy responsibility to her disabled brother and Erik's acceptance just made me love Erik more. So excited for book 3, Legend. More please and keep Jason Clarke!!

Storyline was ok. I liked how there was glimpses of book characters from book #1 of the series. Worth a credit? I wouldn’t. I bought on sale on Amazon with kindle+whisper sync.

Erik: Arizona Vengeance, Book 2

ridiculous #feels
Could possibly be one of my top three Sawyer Bennett books!
(I’ll have to give that further thought)
What I don’t have to give further thought to is the incredible heart this story has. Well done!

After further thought ... If you read the first in this series, Bishop, then you already have a little taste of both Blue and Erik and just from that little taste, you should be running to #one-click immediately! I could not wait! I knew their story was going to be tension high and sexually charged but I didn’t expect the #feels OMG, the #feels!

I loved that story put Blue and Erik in each other’s paths whether they wanted it or not. It made the chase that much more fun! Erik is, of course, a player .. on and off the rink LOL Blue doesn’t have time for those kinds of shenanigans. She has her reasons and they aren’t all about him. Her back-story will touch your heart and make this journey that much sweeter. It grabbed a hold of my heart and just wouldn’t let go. These two will forever hold a place in my heart!

As for the narration .. every minute was delightful! Well done!

Erik and Blue

Funny, Sweet, Charming and romantic. Erik may have been a playboy but he sure did pull at my heartstrings, he was attentive, caring, and adorable. I'm so in love with this series. The Cold Fury series has always been my favorite but The Arizona Vengeance is possibly going to take that title of favorite away. Sawyer Bennett captivates me, she has a way of storytelling that draws you in, makes you feel like you are right along side these characters, making you laugh, feeling every emotion and warming your heart. I loved it.

Hockey playboy falls for former play girl who is caring for her disabled brother

A very simplistic plot with some character development, not too much drama, and a happy ending. This is the second book in this series so the other teammates also are developed.

I loved Eric and Blue

Oh my goodness! I devoured this book. Sawyer Bennett has created such a magnificent world in her Vengeance series. She magically weaves a stand alone story, into an intricately plotted series. I never wanted this book to end. To make matters worse, I can't wait to see which character she writes about next.

In this book, you meet Erik and Blue. Erik is the team's enforcer and for the majority of his life has enjoyed his single, playboy lifestyle. That is until he meets the sexy flight attendant who repeatedly turns him down.

Blue doesn't have time for players on or off the ice. Her priorities do not include one night stands or flings. At least not any more. She led that lifestyle years ago, but things have changed. Family means everything.

I felt every emotion possible while reading Erik. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to smack some sense into the characters. I love the combustible chemistry, tension and the sense of family being the ones you choose.

I seriously cannot wait for the next book in this series. Sawyer has left snippets for future plot twists and I am dying to find out what happens. my hands cannot get on book three of this series fast enough.

PS - the audio version of this book only adds to the entertainment. Jason Clarke and Ava Erickson have only added to Sawyer's brilliant work.
