Publisher's summary

New York Times best-selling author Meghan March goes back to New Orleans and the world of Lachlan Mount with a dangerous and bold new anti-hero.

The thing about ghosts is they’re supposed to stay dead.

That’s exactly what I am, but I can’t stay away from Magnolia Marie Maison for one more day, let alone another year.

We’ve already got 15 of those between us.

As it stands, she’ll want to kill me as soon as she lays eyes on me. And knowing her, she’s completely up to the task.

But I’m a man on a mission, and I’ve got everything riding on this.

So, here I come, Magnolia. This ghost is ready for whatever you got.

After all, there’s only one way I want this to end - ’til death do us part.

Nawlins ✨Magnolia ✨ Moses

Love this book soo much!! My husband is from Nawlins and family is creole so this feels so familiar and the tone feels so authentic. Magnolia is a force. Always had been unapologetic, bad ass, all woman and I love Moses for her.

I also knew this would be one hellava cliff hanger so I waited so I could back to back.

Does. Not. Disappoint.

Fabulous.

Hot Momma!

Meghan March proves once again why she has got the world by the tail. Magnolia has always been a favorite character in the world of Lachlan Mount, a very special woman who couldn't be happy with just any man...wouldn't consider just settling--she's not wired that way. She is the product of a very difficult life, and not just any man is going to be able to deal with her past. But there is Moses. He's definitely not just any man. In fact, his history is one to rival hers. Plus he's got the strength to deal with this wildcat of a woman.

But Magnolia; strong, independent, fierce woman that she is, doesn't forgive quickly or easily. Moses will have to earn her trust again after leaving her fifteen years ago, and it won't be easy.

This first offering of the duet carries all the goodness of a well done Cajun gumbo. It's got genuine richness in its characters, hot spice with an overpoweringly passionate romance, and the fantastic base of a steamy plot filled with all the interesting stuff.

Magnolia and Moses are magnificent in their passionate highs and lows. This is one fabulous read.

Mags is a boss!

Once I started, I could not stop until it was done! My only problem was with the narrators not sticking with their accents.

Brilliant as expected!!

Meghan March is the queen of the anti-hero and anti-heroine. She is a master at character development and somehow manages to make you love the characters major flaws and all. You are surrounded by the energy that is New Orleans and taken on a journey filled with twists and turns and find yourself holding your breath. But beware the cliffhangers that Meghan March is famous for and be ready to binge Madam Temptress as soon as you finish. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are pure gold as they bring these characters to life. 5 stars and more if I could.

10/10 would recommend to ANYONE

Amazing story, well-written and developed. Magnolia was no-nonsense, sassy and assertive. I love strong, independent heroines, that are smart and Magnolia is by far, my most favorite female characters to this day. I'm a sucker for second chance romances and I am curious to see how this is going to play out especially after how the story ended!!

Would recommend to anyone 10/10
Narration 10/10
Worth the Credit :D

New Orleans dirty side

Okay, here we go. After many stories, we FINALLY get Magnolia's story. I must admit, she's not my favorite. Always plotting and looking out for herself. You love to hate her and she's okay with that. A confident woman is something I can always get behind. And Moses? He was one you hate, no matter what. Until you find out his story and finds out why he did what he did. Life is tough and if you don't look out for yourself, who will? Creole Kingpin is a story constantly on the go and Meghan March does a wonderful job weaving all the stories together to create an epic world.

Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are PERFECT. Erin's Southern accent is amazing and I didn't even realize it was her at first, that's how good it is. And Joe's creole accent? Yummmmmm. I could listen to him wit that accent all day and call me "Mama"

Creole Joe - you can't go wrong

The Story of Magnolia and Moses - the story I didn't know I needed.
Great set up for book two, but ends in a cliffhanger, they are indeed a duet for one story. Joe Arden's Creole accent is worth the price of admission. Erin Mallon as Magnolia is wonderful as well.

We get to revisit NOLA, and even Mount and Kiera - it's like visiting old friends.
There is mystery and danger, and twists throughout the book.
Well done, recommended.

Joe Arden!!!!

That creole accent!!!! I have purchased every MM audiobook and this duet might be my favorite thanks to Joe Arden. Could there be a next series with the bounty hunter?
