Publisher's summary

Reese is a cutthroat businesswoman....

An overbearing and a cantankerous mess! She’s snarly, blunt, moody, and totally in my face...and I’m ticked off that it turns me on!

I moved to Sausalito to escape the memories of Lyla. I have reasons for living my life the way I do. I enjoy the simple things in life; A job well done, a glass of whiskey, and the occasional piping-hot night tangled in the sheets with no strings attached. I don’t need a beautiful strawberry-blonde princess sticking her nose in my business and pushing every one of my buttons.

I try to run her off, but she fights dirty. She has to leave, it will never work. Too bad I want her to stay.

Get it now.

Mending broken pieces

This is the follow up to Gypsy but it can definitely be listened to or read as is. You get enough backstory to know what happened in the other book but if you like having your heart ripped out I highly recommend it. This picks up from there and this heals Jameson and gives him the chance for a HEA. We still get to experience the heartbreak and turmoil that Jameson is going through and see his struggle to get to the other side. I loved how this author gives us the sad stories but then puts the broken back together to show Life Goes On, another great one from Kelly Moore, and that even though we deal with terrible things in our lives you can make it to the other side and live another day.

Adam Riley does a great job with Jameson. He pours the emotion needed for this book and I enjoyed listening to him.

I loved this book and this entire series. This author has some great books available and I recommend you check her work out.

I had previously read this book. Loved listening to it! It made it more real. Great story and narration. Kelly Moore never disappoints! I forgot all about the naked fighting!

Good story

This was a good story and well worth the credit. It was sad at some parts but not life changing. This is my first from the author as well as the narrator. I usually choose dual narrator because I love to hear both POV from the main characters. This was a nice change hearing from male POV. I would definitely look for more from this author and the narrator.

Absolutely fantastic story!

This is the fifth book in the Epic Love series, and it was absolutely fantastic! Jameson is now living in California trying to get on with his life without Lyla. Then in walks Reese, infuriating, stubborn Reese, but he can't deny his attraction to her. The dynamic between these two characters is perfect. I loved this story, I couldn't put it down, and ended up reading it twice just to be sure I didn't miss anything. An excellent read front to back.

Adam Riley's narration and voice kept me fascinated and wanting more. I will definitely download and listen to more stories narrated by him!

Great Story!

This story is filled with a past that will break your heart for the pain Jameson is going through. The guilt he feels for being alive and not being able to save Lyla is as real as it can get.
When he meets Reese he is hit with feelings he never thought he would feel again. He tries to fight it but the pull is too strong.
I loved this story and this a new author for me. I will be looking forward to reading/listening to more from her. Also, I think the narration from Adam Riley was good too.

A little lighter and fun

This a good story but not one of this authors best for an emotional pull. This is a little lighter than others in this series. It’s still a good listen and if you enjoy banter this book is for you. The two main characters are like oil and water. They have that hate-hate relationship with a little zing...and a chance of it becoming more. These two are playful and fun. Reese is a strong female and Jameson has some past issues to overcome if he wants to try with Reese. I loved the whole arguing naked thing...especially when the tables were turned.

On a side note I have not read Gypsy, which after looking was when Jameson had his first chance at love. Maybe I would be more invested in his story had I read that first.

I did listen to this on audio. Adam Riley did a good job reading this to me.

letting lila go

Jameson is still feeling the effects of the loss of Lila. emptiness and depression. The last thing he wants to do is let another woman into his life. Reese is snarky, bold headstrong and a go getter. unlike any woman Jameson met. funny moments, her rules argue naked. How is he going to let Reese in while he still has memories and feelings for Lila. Kelly Moore wrote a story of love, compassion, betrayal, confrontation, misunderstanding. Adam Riley narration is emotional fun and expressive. I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

Great Love Story

Other reviews feel this can be a stand alone read, but I feel the story of Gypsy is a must read prior to reading this story. Jameson is living in California now. This story focuses on how Jameson moves on without Gypsy. Reese is the heroine in the story, she's bold and sure of herself and catches Jameson's eye. This is a touching book, but with a happy ever after. . I enjoyed hearing this as an audiobook.
