Publisher's summary

Andy Tyler has been the class daredevil since middle school. Over the years, he’s convinced his best friend, Jake Masterson, to perform some dangerous-looking stunts with him. But the dare they attempt on the night of their college graduation goes sideways. The firecrackers explode too soon and both of them end up with badly burned palms.

But hey, nothing gets the “terrible duo” down for long, and they recuperate in style at Andy’s family cottage in Nantucket. As the weeks go by, both Andy and Jake grow frustrated over the inability to use their hands for all sorts of daily activities—including getting off. So Andy begins a new series of dares that don’t just cross the friendship line, they obliterate it.

But what might be mere sexual relief to Andy is serious business to Jake, who only recently got over years of secret pining for his straight best friend. Inevitably, the burns heal, summer ends, and hearts are broken. To fix things, Andy will have to face the greatest dare of all.

Drama Thine Name be Love

I have felt the need to cry over reading a book so much until I read this I was truly an awe how moving and just diverse the plot was one minute you're thinking that there everything's going to work out the next minute you think the world is going to end for them and then the next everything works out up after all the ups and downs of this story remind me so much of my own life and how I long for something like this in my life this book has truly moved me and I'm really thankful that I got a chance to listen to it this author is truly worth hearing more from I hope that similar stories like this become as popular as I hope this one becomes in the days to come.

Engaging, light-hearted story

Fall in love with both characters quickly and follow them through a story where your heart begs them to stay young and enjoy the thrills of life. The plot is slightly predictable, but not to the distraction of the experience. a definite reread!

Such a sweet friends to lovers story!

I love the premise of the dare for this story. It’s a sweet childhood friends to lovers story without too much angst. Tristan Josiah does a great job narrating the story. Absolutely love his voice.

good story, not what I expected though

Good story, but the premise was lacking. I found most of the physical portions luke-warm at best.

Emotional

The love between two best friends and how their love grows before they even realize their love for each other. An emotional yet well told story of young love, the ups and downs of relationships.

Short and Cute

Unsure if I would prefer it longer or like it at just this length. either way, it got all the points across and was able to wrapup with a HEA. if u want something short, sweet, funny, and steamy this is a book you would like.

I dare ya to read it. (trust me it's good)

Andy and Jake have been the dynamic duo since they've known each other. Andy coming up with stunts and Jake selling them to the crowd. They work perfectly together. Now they are graduating college and going to separate ends fo the state.. Jake to California to start a job his sister helped him get and Andy on to Harvard for law school. Jake had one last stunt at their graduation party to have them going out with a bang. They both would hold fireworks in their hand and let them explode. The stunt goes wrong and they go out with a ban in a bad way. neither are hurt too bad but both have hand injuries that will take 6 to 8 weeks to heal and they cant use their hands at all. They go to Andy's Cape Cod house to recuperate. The dares don't stop there.

This is a short, fast-paced sweet romance. I loved getting to know Jake and Andy and watching their friendship bug into something else. There is a lot going on that keeps ou pulled into the book.

Tristan Josiah did a fine job narrating this story keeping the voices distinct and the pacing flowing.

If you like New adult romance, coming out stories, Bisexual, friends to lovers, sweet, fluffy romance, little sexy time and an allover feel-good story this is for you.
