Refreshing Approach & Mighty Enjoyable. Well Done!
Would never have usually listened to an MP for 40 minutes, especially in the current climate. Not only did I learn a bit, I loved it. Ed Milliband shows a snippet of a very endearing personality not really seen before by Joe public. Dermot continues to have his focus well alinged on what folk want. Refreshing content and mighty enjoyable. Job well done I'd say

Really refreshing
This was only the first episode but it was really refreshing, I enjoyed listening to it.
I liked Dermot style of interviewing and I came away from it with a new respect for Ed Miliband.
Can't wait to hear more episodes.
One negative comment, hearing them gulping tea has got worse by episode 4, take the cups away, please 🙏

Brilliant podcast series
I loved listening to Dermot O'Leary interviewing such interesting people. Why has this stopped after episode 6? How can I listen to the rest of his interviews?

Promising...
Some good guests especially Jean Nissan and Pat Davies, the interceptors from Bletchley Park. More like this please.
However, at times Dermot comes across as a bit sycophantic and obsequious. You can imagine him grinning broadly and squirming with pleasure in his chair as he makes agreeable noises.

Excellent Interview
The sort of interview you crave on TV but only given 3 minutes of. Some fantastic anecdotes, well worth the listen.

INTERESTING FROM START TO FINISH
This is a great audio-book full of interviews with interesting people and stories. If, like myself, you love learning something new, this is a great book to hear. I've learned lots of random yet interesting facts about newspaper morals and world war code breakers. Yes, the bits and pieces you pick up are quite random but still make for a great read, or listen. The only minor downside to this audio-book is that Dermot (interviewer) sometimes cuts off the speaker or changes the subject matter too soon. Overall, this is a great audio-book that I enjoyed a lot.

Entertaining and educational
A wide range of people being sensitively interviewed. Nice to hear from 'non celebrities' not selling anything just talking.
A great listen.

Who was interviewing whom?
Interviewing of John Lloyd and Bletchley ladies, great and interesting. Quite enjoyed Ed Milliband interview although spoilt by O'Leary taking over the conversation with anecdotes from his own life and his own opinions, and this became very irritating. This was also the case with the rest of the interviews. At times it felt as though I was listening to two people having a chat in a pub with O'Leary making embassingly sycophantic remarks. In order to fully understand the interview with Eni Aluko, one needed to have a lot of background knowledge about her upset with the FA to be able to fully follow the conversation and I had to keep running it back thinking I'd missed something . It was also difficult at times with the Bletchley lady interviews (Jean Nissan & Pat Davis) to distinguish between the two. Maybe next time I should do some background reading on the guests before listening to the podcast. And remember in future, Dermot, who is supposed to be interviewing whom!

WILL DERMOT PLEASE BE QUIET!!!
We all love Dermot O’Leary professionally and I’ve heard he’s a good guy personally too, but I didn’t subscribe to “People just people” to listen to him speak over his guests and tell his stories. He has had some interesting guests on the show but I can’t listen because it’s so infuriating listening to him cut his guests off and go on a ramble.
Message for Dermot -
I think you should listen to the king of chat himself, Mr David Letterman to see how it’s done. Trick is: Let your guests talk.
