Excellent all round

I like listening to Becky Smethurst. She imparts knowledge easily and makes it easy to keep going and find out more. She needs to write more books perhaps in depth.

Delightful, Inspiring and Insightful

(Disclaimer: Dr Becky and I are friends and colleagues)

'Space: 10 things you need to know' is an excellent short work which delivers insightful points on our knowledge of the universe in an easily digestible and understandable way. Dr Becky perfectly encapsulates what it takes to be a science educator, and her writing and performance here got me excited to learn about things that I already knew from my own research and education.

Inbetween the amazing science, Dr Becky brings an energy of pure excitement about the universe at large that is infectious and inspiring. A must listen for fans of pop science and an excellent example of good sci-comm practice for those of us looking for inspiration.

Fantastic

Came across the author by accident via a tweet as we were stuck in the same christmas traffic jam. Book provides a very good introduction to space, time and all that other stuff you think you know about when actually you don't. Certainly made the long work journeys alot more enjoyable than Radio X!!!

Fantastic Accessible Science for all

Becky’s story telling is fantastic, bringing the mysteries and wonder of space to life. Pitched at just above the average high school teachers level, there’s enough to intrigue without overwhelming. I listened to it 4x in a row, everyday on my commute.
Thoroughly enjoyable!
