Publisher's summary

First of all, I want to thank my audience and let them know that it has been an honor working with my narrator, Graham Bessellieu. Despite being a newly published author, I could not have asked to work with a more consummate professional who constructively provided much-needed feedback. So thank you, Graham.

This new audiobook is where the story begins....

"So long as we go forward with the well-being of others as well as ourselves in mind, we'll create a legacy that can be and will be worthy of preservation indefinitely." (Eliza Williams to James Cooper)

Eliza Williams and a host of friendly heroes tackle some of the most significant dilemmas of the day using the tools of physics, neuroscience, biology, and more, to overcome the effects of space travel on our bodies and our minds. We meet many new characters and journey as Eliza, along with her growing crew of friends are determined to overcome a rocky economy, unnecessary suffering, violence, disease, and terrorism. They work together to understand how they can tame seismic activity, weather, and fire. She and her friends tackle ways to prevent extinction and provide solutions to quality of life concerns. They even consider the longevity of our Sun, establish tech cities throughout the solar system, and protect our Earth's capacity to preserve life. At the dawn of her efforts, Eliza tackles each of these issues to get us out, and into the stars, so we can begin an even bigger quest throughout our observable Universe and beyond!

With intellect, experience, perspective, kindness, and graciousness we will have the ability to gain more wisdom leading to longevity and clarity of mind. For Eliza and her crew of friends, it is a race against time to meet new civilizations, preserve life, share our legacies, and go further than before! No matter the challenge, there will always be an opportunity for higher pursuits!

Excellent Narration of new Space Opera!

There is so much we need to do to get out there in space, and Eliza does a lot, as the story's main character and pivotal leader throughout this cerebral space opera. She grows up with a dear friend, meets others along the way, and creates mechanisms to help humanity preserve our Earth, our Solar System, and so much more. Eliza is very patient and desires to coach, mentor, and lift humanity so that we can all be a part of the journeys that lie ahead, as we traverse the Universe. We start the story with another phenomenal individual, Vesha Celeste. In meeting Vesha, her dream angel, Sky, comes to the forefront and she will play a significant role in the next novel of the series. Many fascinating characters are introduced and are critical to this story. Hence, this earns the category of Space Opera!

As the individual who worked with Narrator Graham Bessellieu, I must say that it was an honor working with him. He provided excellent feedback every step of the way, and I got the sense that he invested time in reading and getting to know the material well before narrating so that he would be more in tune with the subject matter and the various characters. He is a consummate professional and was a joy to work with at every stretch of our project. Five stars to his talents, dedication, and choice in subject matter! Shout out to Graham! Excellent job!

This story is designed to be listened to and read more than once since there is so much to understand. Once I breathed life into the characters, they essentially took the wheel from there. If there are ever any questions about other books or subject matter covered in this audiobook, please don't undermine the crucial nature of the message which is about making this world a beautiful and wonderful place to be, and instead don't hesitate to contact me at info@author-mjo.com! There is a lot to consider, so show you are an ally to humanity and enjoy the journey!

Whether it reflects well on me or not, I appreciate any and all feedback. If it is positive, it will help me forge ahead and continue to be the wonderful author that I am, while still developing and expanding my abilities. If it is negative, it may hurt, but I will strive to learn from it if delivered in a good-natured manner, and become a better author. So, thank you for the reviews.

Unusual but intriguing: sci-fi/philosophy

When I started listening, I thought this was a normal sci-fi novel. It is not. It is a very simple story, as far as the characters’ actions go. The depth in this story is how thoughtful it is on the nature of society, and how a few specific changes could fundamentally improve everything we know. This book seeks to bridge the gap between the civilization we have now, and an eternal utopia. What would it take for humanity to overcome its current failings, expanding idealistically and geographically, out into the universe? It’s a big task, but it’s beautifully done. While long-winded, this was fascinating, and very much worth your time. I highly recommend this book.

Disclaimer: I used to work with the author, and have occasional contact. He asked me to review his book. I’m glad he did. Well done.

Pedantic Sophistry

This purports to be an enlightening story that will even increase your vocabulary. It is one story told by various characters all expressing the same story from the same vantage point. That is the first third f the novel. The next section tells of all the marvelous changes wrought by the protagonist, with no exposition of how these changes were wrought.

This might have been a good idea for a short story, but it is not a novel.
