Publisher's summary

Best-selling author Kelly Collins welcomes you back to Aspen Cove, the tiny Colorado town where anything can happen if you just open your heart and mind.

Pop star Samantha White walks off the stage and disappears into a crowd of cheering fans. After 10 years as the music sensation known as Indigo, she needs to figure out who she really is. With her manager pressuring her to sign a new contract, Samantha runs to the only place she remembers with fondness - Aspen Cove - a small town that embraced 12-year-old Samantha when she and her mother finally left her abusive father.

She’s sure a few weeks of peace in a secluded cabin will be exactly what she needs to figure out where to go from here. But when Dalton Black storms into her life, Samantha realizes she may not get the clarity and calm she’s seeking. If she plays her cards right, she’ll get something better - love.

Dalton Black doesn’t ask for much. But then, he knows most people would say he doesn’t deserve much - not after spending six years in prison for killing a man. He’s carved out a quiet life in Aspen Cove where he knows who is friend and who is foe. Just when he’s accepted his life will be a string of meaningless relationships, he meets Samantha White and everything changes.

Can a famous singer find her forever with an ex-convict? Or will the secrets they keep tear them apart? Find out in One Hundred Wishes.

Is Samantha and Dalton’s relationship doomed before it even starts?

One Hundred Wishes is the third book in the Aspen Cove Romance series. Samantha, better known to the world as the pop star princess Indigo, has escaped to Aspen Cove, hoping to reclaim a bit of peace, sanity, and to find her muse again. All too soon, she meets Dalton, an ex con, talented chef, and her crush from her childhood. Samantha is quickly realizing that Dalton has won over her heart, but with too many secrets between them and her pop star status, is their relationship doomed before it even starts?

Holy smokes, this was the first time that I was able to experience this book (finally!!) and it was sooooo good! Definitely lived up to all of my expectations and I fell in love with Samantha and Dalton right away! You can’t help but feel pain for Samantha, for the naïve mistakes she makes when she was younger, and for the hopes, dreams, and wishes she has for her present life and future! Same with Dalton, he’s so wounded from his past, but you just fall in love with him because of how much of a protector he truly is. I love their connection that builds and forms before the media catches up, but once they do, I love the way the media plays into later events, too! This book is so captivating, tugs at your heart, fills you up with goodness, and just oozing with love trying to overcome anything!

A Sweet Small Town Romance with Good Narration!

I listened to the Audiobook. Once again, the narration was well done. This is the third book in the series. I read the first one and listened to the audio version of books 2 and 3. I have found that these are good stories whether you read them or listen to them.

I imagine they can be read as standalones, but I think they are better read in order. In this book, two unlikely people end up finding love. Both Dalton and Samantha feel a little damaged and a little hopeless. Because of their pasts, they recognize a kindred spirit in one another.

I like the whole small town atmosphere, support of friends and family, and sense of community. There was very little angst in the story. Some things I expected to happen , which would have increased the angst factor, never did happen. There was also some suspense involved did to both Dalton and Sam having secrets that they were initially unwilling to share.

Ultimately unexpected occurrences caused some changes in Aspen Cove, but those situations forced Dalton and Samantha to realize their HEA. A sweet, sexy, small town romance.

I voluntarily listened to and reviewed the Audiobook received from the author.

Good Story & Narration

Aspen Cove is where Samantha went to find out who she was. After ten years of being a pop star. Then meeting Dalton a guy who has a chip on his shoulder after prison. For her she may find love to make her life complete, could she convince him. Given ARC. audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion. The narration by Leslie McAllister added to the enjoyment of this story

Aspen Cove Sans Pink Envelopes

I am absolutely loving the ability of Ms. Collins to take a minor character and make them into a main character while retaining the previous main characters. The carousel of moving main characters to the background while not forgetting them and moving previously background characters to the foreground is riveting. It makes me pay so much more attention to the secondary characters wondering who will be next. The true magic is that Ms. Collins manages to ensure that their previously mentioned traits are consistent with their main character story as well.

This is another great story of the ‘small’ town of Aspen Cove. My only disappointment with this particular one is that there were no pink envelopes. I kept waiting for Dalton to open one or someone to have one for him, but alas, no envelope. This is only a minor complaint, but with the first two novels they tied them together well. It seems now that it will be the town itself that ties everything together.

This is about the tenth book I’ve read that has been narrated by Mr. McAllister. He always does an amazing job. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of his voice.

I certainly can’t wait to read more about this adorable little town, but I do hope the envelopes return and make more appearances.

I was provided with a free copy of this audio book for my honest review. The views expressed here are entirely my own.

Great small town romance!

With every book, I fall a little bit more in love with Aspen Cove. Each book gives a new couple their happily ever after and I couldn't wait for Dalton to get his. He is the bad boy who really isn't bad at all. Samantha is a pop star who finds herself back in Aspen Cove on a much needed break. These two have great chemistry and their story was such a heartfelt one. I truly loved watching Samantha risk it all for Dalton. I loved watching Dalton break out of the mold everyone put him in. This was a great story.

The narrator did a great job conveying the story and put a lot of emotion into each of the characters. I thought he really added a lot to the narration. Great job!

Recommended

I thoroughly enjoyed 'One Hundred Wishes' brought to life by Logan McAllister. Dalton & Samantha's story was one I never saw coming. At the same time they are perfect together. There is a strong emphasis on abuse in this story. Something both Samantha & Dalton have in common. I appreciate this as it is a problem too often hidden, ignored or thought deserved. Kudos to Ms. Collins for including it here.

I was given a free Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.

Another winner in the series

This talented author gives us another touching story in this enchanting series.
We have met Dalton Black in previous stories and this time, he his story.
Dalton spent six years in prison for killing a man that was being abusive to a woman. Now he is a chef at the local cafe. One he co-owns with with his mom. A sweet man and everyone’s friend.
Samantha White has come to Aspen Cove to escape the paparazzi and pressures of being a famous singer.
She gets a chance of being herself in this town and with Dalton. A relationship begins between these two, neither revealing their secrets.
But what happens when those secrets are out in the open? Can they handle their different lives? Will Dalton be condemned by the press?
Will they find their HEA?
Another winner in this series. Can’t wait to read/listen to the next book in the series.
