Publisher's summary

Re-released in a second edition with new content.

Detectives Ben and Chase Dawson have been sent to investigate an unusual murder at an exclusive resort owned by Julian Lodge. The prime suspect is a young woman who was the last person to see the victim alive. Julian wants them to ensure her safety while also conducting the investigation. The job seems simple enough, until Ben and Chase discover that the beautiful woman they have both come to desire has dark secrets.

Natalie Buchanan came to the Willow Fork Tranquility Spa seeking sanctuary after escaping the clutches of a twisted sadist. Working as a massage therapist at the resort has given her a chance to heal. It also offers her an opportunity to reconnect to the lifestyle she thought she would never be comfortable in again. But when one of her regular clients ends up dead on her table, Natalie fears that the monster she once escaped has come back to claim her.

As Natalie rediscovers her own power, all three will be forced to confront her past.

Siren Unleashed

Ben, Chase, and Natalie
Ok, this was better than the last, but still, the whole brother thing wigs me out just a little. I don’t know if them being twins helped because together they felt whole or what but it wasn’t as bad as the last book for me.

I really like Natalie and all that she has overcome really brought this book to another level. I liked that she and Kitty still are so close and I really want Kitty’s book because even though she is odd knowing what the three women went through makes me understand her better.

The three Ben, Chase, and Natalie make sense and the fact that she gets both of them for who they are and doesn’t like one over the other never choose favorite really made me like her a little extra.

The narration was good I found CJ didn’t do the weird twang in this book.

not this one

I read everything Lexi writes and usually love it. But this has a heroine that has been raped and I stop reading the book and the series when this happens. I read these books for escapism: fun, excitement, romance, even the crazy stuff. I don't want realism. Skip this one,

My New Favorite

What can I say? I’m hooked on Lexi Blake stories. I’ve read many series and usually - no matter how good the author is - there will be one book in a series that I don’t particularly care for and won’t rush to reread. That simply isn’t the case with the world that Lexi (Sophie) has created. Each book is just as compelling (or more so) than the last. Thank you Lexi Blake / Sophie Oak for your gift of these books. I’m moving onto the Bliss series now. ❤️❤️

Texas Sirens Book Seven

Texas Sirens Book Seven.

Natalie Buchanan has made it through hell and back, but when a new attack is blamed on her she believes someone else is after her. Knowing that her boss has sent in an investigator doesn't stop her from seeking relief from the new Dom, even though she knows he must be the same man. Chase Dawson is willing to master Natalie, but he feels more than he expected when she cries in his arms. He decides to give her time while he figures out his own plan. Meanwhile, Chase's twin brother, Ben, arrives at the resort. When Natalie begs him to go upstairs with her, Ben doesn't hesitate. Now that both brothers have fallen for the pink-haired beauty, neither can imagine letting her go.

If you're looking for a story with a survivor, twin Doms and new dangers emerging, this is the book for you!

Enjoyable Narration

Kitten previously showed flashes of hidden depth. Georgia drove me crazy. Until she didn't. I think both Georgia and Kitten were pleasant added surprises to the story.

Nat's beginning was difficult to say the least. It highlighted a danger that seemed to be somewhat prevalent among young women. I would have liked that one episode to be added that included her and Kitten.

I liked the way Chase, Nat, and Ben were together. I could almost feel Chase's pain through one particular scene, and Ben's through another.. I was not surprised at the identity of who was involved in Nat's problem. It didn't take away from having to figure out the how and why.

I thought the narration was excellent. There was never a moment when I had to wonder who was speaking. I enjoyed the integration of characters from the other series. There were a number of humorous moments right along with the witty banter and sarcasm.

loved the story

I love the story and the narrations. Lexi always seems to find the best narrators. What I don't like is the repetitive words. For example
Thawck -inner dialog
Thawck - inner dialog
Thawck - inner dialog
Thawck - inner dialog
Thawck - inner dialog
This wasn't the only time it happened, with something else it happened too I can't remember what is was now. Authors stop trying to get your word count this way.
