Publisher's summary

He stole my hand, but I won’t let him steal my heart.

On the worst day of my life, I was given away by my own blood. Sold to a handsome bad guy in exchange for my father’s debt. Easton Van Buren claimed me and locked me up in his mansion. That devilish man wanted more than just my body.

So, I ran.

But when a rich man’s prized possession escapes, he’ll do anything he can to get her back in his claws. Anything he can, to entice her heart to fall for him. And submit.

A Debt Repaid is the follow-up to the exciting dark billionaire alpha male romance novel A Debt Owed by The New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Clarissa Wild. This is the second book in The Debt Duet and the final installment.

Sweet revenge

This book was really good. Charlotte was able to escape while in a clothing store with Jill, who is Easton's trusty assistant. A man, Dino, finds her and lets her stay with him and his daughter, Ashanti. While with them, Charlotte fell for a set up planned by her father. This put Dino and Ashanti's lives in danger. I cannot believe how dumb Charlotte was. She could not be any dumber if she tried falling for that trick. She was forced to call Easton for help and she knew what that would mean. Easton was absolutely obsessed with her and considered her his property. I could not stand him or how he treated and talked to her. Charlotte was strong at times and weak at other times. This book had a great ending where revenge was really sweet. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did a great job with the narration.

Conflicted

I'm a bit conflicted on this one. The girl was stubborn and she fought to the point where it just wasn't amusing anymore.

the drama was a bit rushed to me. The ending was rushed and I just felt the ending didnt quite match their personalities.

Great ending!!

Book 2 in this series. Loved it, very original cult type book with great characters. I read both books before I listened and WOW the narrative just brought it all to life.

loved this conclusion

These two books on audio were wonderful. I read the books 📚 first, but nothing comes close to the feels, until you listen to it.
This book is a must listen too!

Beautiful Conclusion

The narrators Wen & Kai did a superb job of bringing this book to life. Their voices matched what I pictured of Easton and Charlotte.
Their relationship is complex and angsty. I appreciated how strong Charlotte stayed despite what she experienced.

Stockholm syndrome!!!! Blah

Typical Stockholm syndrome.
Unforgivable lines are crossed.
Charlotte is the dumbest woman on the planet.
Book contains torture, unwanted sex, murder, etc.
and then.... HEA! wow!

The narration is awesome. Kai and Wen did a great job. Best part about the book.

I didn't really like book 1. I'm not sure why I listened to book 2. Blah

Fantastic Enemies to Lovers

I absolutely devoured this entire duet. Book 2 I finished in one sitting. It was everything I love in a great mafia romance. Hero was raw, gritty, flawed and had the best redemptive qualities I could ever ask for.

Book one left me hating the guy and hoping he can never get her back. Clarissa Wild’s writing had me on this fantastic rollercoaster of emotions. Where I loved her hero and heroine, I hated them and fell in love all over again.

I read this book via audio and I can never say enough things about the amazing duo Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross together they pulled these characters right off the pages and made them real.
