Worth the Credit! I Loved these stories!

This is a wonderful series and easily worth the credit! I grew to love these Gibson boys! This encompasses all kinds of tropes. But what I love the best is the camaraderie and fun between these characters. I did listen to this on audio. Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are the narrators for all of these delightful stories. They did a wonderful job.
Below is the breakdown for each book.

Crank
Very enjoyable! I loved how they all called her Slugger :). Totally warranted but still cute! I love all these brothers! Their camaraderie and brotherly stuff is simply great to listen to. Walker had a few shocking revelations and I really don’t know what he would do without Peck. I LOVED Walker’s gesture at the end! Sienna comes from the Landry brothers series (which I haven’t read/listened to yet). I loved all her interactions with them. They sound like great big brothers! She is a delight and I loved her. Nana and Peck were my favorite secondary characters.

Craft
Holy Smokes I didn’t see this coming!
That first kiss in the pantry so HOT! I loved these two! This issues the whole school teacher/librarian fantasy. The problems that Lance and Mariah has were each huge. Tough to overcome one more than the other. The whole idea of the dating app was cute as well. I really thought that nerdy nurse was a different person. So well played! This is an enjoyable read and I am loving these Gibson Boys and their ladies. Next please!

Cross
This is my least favorite of all of the stories. Cross is a friend but really holds no interest before this and he basically disappears after. But it’s cute.

Crave
There is so much that goes on in here. History is what Hadley and Machlan are filled with And they need to cope. This could almost by my fav of the series. These two are steeped in the past and can’t seem to release to enjoy the future. It’s a struggle and to listen to their pain. On the plus side Sunday Dinners with Nana are the BEST! I just want to go and be there to hang. Then the brothers when they “help” each other with relationship advice. This is a good one!

Crazy
I love Peck and am so happy he get his own story. He has always been so helpful to his cousins and finding their women. That when it’s his turn to struggle. They offer him some sweet advice. Dillon is the perfect girl for Peck. They each have that happy, adventurous spirit that radiates from them. The BIG gesture at the end is soooo Peck and Dillon! I love this series and am sorry to see it end.

Not as good as I hoped.

I didn't care for Wen Ross as a narrator. His chuckles are annoying. The characters are predictable. It's hard to like a book when all the female characters get treated like garbage and they run back to a slutty male lead. Disappointed.

The Gibson Boys Collection Series

Enoyed all 5 Stories of the Gibson, Ward and Cross' Stories. All with their unique storyline. Lance, Macland, and Pecks I think were my favorites with Kai and Wen as the narrators made them all that more enjoyable.

lots of really feel good hours!

I loved every one of the Gibson Boys, Peck being the absolute best of them all!
Except for the Cross novella, which I found ridiculous and unnecessary, specially because of the girl, whose name I don't even remember, this was a really sweet and enjoyable audiobook. It's not life changing, but good company for a while 😊

Not my favorite

The one constant across all of the books is how disgusting the male characters are, with the exception of Peck. Seriously, they were all jerks. The biggest issue in every single book all led down to the same exact issue: communication. No one in these stories know how to communicate which leads to unnecessary drama. Honestly I only kept listening to hear Pecks story and even then, I felt that it was rushed. Also, the timelines for some of these don’t make sense. One minute, you have two characters hooking up and the next day one of them will make a comment about it having been days since they’ve been with that person when in fact it was literally hours prior. And like someone else pointed out, Nana made it clear she gave birth to two boys. Then in the last book, one of her sons magically became a female and was Pecks mom? Someone should have done more proof reading on all of these to catch errors like that.
