Swallowing lies has never felt so good.
Reed freaking Rivers. I wouldn’t trust a word out of the arrogant music mogul’s mouth if his gold-plated tongue were notarized. The man with the Midas touch would say anything to get me into his bed, and I know it. But that doesn’t mean I don’t want him to succeed.

Whoooaaa.
I thoroughly enjoyed this! Right pace, right length and the story was feeding me while leaving me wanting more and guessing!! Can’t wait to get stuck into book 2!

One of my favourite LR book to date
Read in February 2020
Well isn't this an incredible little turn of events.
This is the BEST Lauren Rowe book. Not only in terms of writing; but tone, storytelling, steam, drama.
Guys...it's all here. I thought I had a favourite LR book (Hey Rockstar, Hey) but Bad Liar, Reed Rivers and Georgie blow all the other couples out the water (Sorry Dax, LOVE YOU, MEAN IT)
I knew before I started this that Reed was going to be something special. He's been on the outskirts of The Morgan Brothers series for a while and well enquiring minds want to know.
Here we get the first in what will eventually be a trilogy about the Man With The Midas Touch. And what can I say about Georgie? She is everything. Reed is everything. Together? Forgetaboutit. Explosions, chaos, supernova. Boom.
Since I heard we were getting a trilogy of Reed Rivers, I knew Lauren was going to knock it out the park. She did. She also knocked out the block, out the city, out the state. And this is just the start?!? I'm stunned that this could get better, but I'm ready because I know. I just know I ain't seen nothing yet.
Although Reed has appeared in her other books, these books will stand alone from that, so if you're looking for a place to kick off what I know will be your love of Lauren Rowe, then I can't think of a better place to start.
5 stars? Nah. I'd give this at least 14 stars, but since 5 is all Goodreads will let me have, 5 it is.

OMG! OMG! OMG!
This is a fabulous start to the Reed Rivers trilogy. I can't believe how amazing it is!
I usually dislike books that a spread across publications but Reed and Georgie are just so epic that I've almost forgotten that their story hasn't come to a conclusion.
Fortunately, there is not long to wait.

Loved the main characters and the story if their negotiations to get what they want , Lauren Rowe writes exciting and sometimes
and sometimes frustrating situations? Highly recommended, eagerly waiting on the next audiobook in the series

Amazing
Loved it, my heart was racing. This was amazing, I have actually listened to this series like 4 times now. The narrator's gave this story life beyond the paper

WOW
What a fantastic book! I think this book was beautifully written absolutely love the bar scene with the banter could see it all in my mind as I was listening. The narration was excellent, Jacob Morgan is so wonderful to listen to, I think I'm addicted to him. couldn't wait for next book so I bought myself extra credits so I could binge listen the trilogy that's how good this book is making me part with my pennies!! well done to all of you I had a wonderful time!! thank you

Gripping
Oh my god, absolutely loved it. The story gripped me immediately. About to purchase the next installment! Narration is excellent as always with these two amazing narrators. I liked the fact I found myself loving Reed but also thinking he's a massive d!@% haha
