Publisher's summary

Bridger Payne is an enigma that no one can figure out. Wise beyond his years, eerily intuitive, and sexy as hell, every woman in The Silo wants him.

None can have him.

Not the real man, anyway.

He might wield the lash for you if you ask prettily, but he'll get no gratification from it. He'll definitely make you scream, but he won't think twice about you when he walks away.

Bridger carries the darkest of secrets. He's filled with too much pain.

He's utterly untouchable.

Until she came along.

Love this Series!

Another great book in this series! I don't love the tortured damaged guy but Bridger is one of those you can't help but love! He has so many ghosts in his past that he can't seem to move past them. Mags is a tough girl with a trouble on her heals. These to explode together. Their relationship is awesome! The sex, the dirty talk and even the softer sides were perfect! This book is crazy HOT!!!! I love this series! I have no idea how many books are going to be in this series but I really hope there are more! I need a book where the characters spend a lot of time at the Silo <3

Great narration too!!! I love Lee Samuels & Kirsten Leigh!

THE FIFTH & FINAL... & WOW WHAT AN EMOTIONAL STORY

Well folks this is the final book in Sawyer Bennett's awesome series that's been packed full of action, suspense, bad guys, hot sex, raw emotions, great characters, romance, love... and happy endings. And, as the saying goes, she really did leave the best til last coz Bridger's story is one that sucks you straight in and will tug at your heart strings at the emotional pain that Bridger's endured. As part owner of the Wicked Horse and the Silo Sex Club he's been in all the other books where he's helped out his friends - either in or out of the Silo setting but he's always been aloof, detached and emotionally switched off.... but he just needed the right woman to unlock his heart.

In this book Bridger is dissatisfied with his life - he's seen all four of his friends find peace, contentment and love and, although he knows that's never going to be him, he yearns for something unknown and just out of reach. He's damaged, haunted and tormented by horrific child abuse which has left him with numerous 'triggers', demands and restrictions on sexual activities and emotionally alienates himself from the act. But when an acquaintance leaves an unconscious, beaten and tortured woman in his care little does Bridger know that she'll be his salvation and the key to unlocking his lifeless heart.

Maggie was a rebellious teen - but years later she's still paying for it - because she's just been rescued from purgatory - a two year purgatory at the hands of a mean and vicious biker President and his Old Lady who each made her life a living Hell in different ways. She feels safe now in Bridger's house - he's moody, sexy, handsome as sin and all Alpha - but how long will it last because Bridger talks about an end date, the MC are relentlessly looking for her and, now that they're lovers, how safe is her heart?

As with all of Sawyer Bennett's books there's sizzling chemistry, smokin hot sex and loveable multi-layered characters and this one's no exception but your heart breaks for the emotional torment that Bridger faces as he mentally wars with the demons of his past in order to get a future with Maggie. This is an emotion-fuelled romance as a very understanding and loving Maggie tries to slate the demons that haunt Bridger's past... while Bridger tries to keep Maggie safe from the flesh and blood ones that aim to kill her. Dual POV's, there's well loved faces from the previous books and flawless narration.

Worth a credit? It's hot, it's heavy, it's sweet as well as raw, it's got angst, drama and a loveable but damaged Alpha Hero... and it's been an addictive and beautiful listen too to see two damaged souls save each other - so HELL YES creditworthy. And it's with a heavy heart that I have to say adieu to a series whose characters I've loved, whose stories have held me riveted and whose flawed, kinky and possessive Alphas have each left his mark... not on my flesh but on my heart.

FINALLY...BRIDGER FINDS PEACE!

So the Wicked Horse and Silo come to an end. Everyone finds their Happy Ever After!

I've been wanting Bridger's story since the first book Wicked Fall. We find out why Bridger is emotionally unattainable. His story as a child and teen is sad but it's not as dark and grim as I was expecting. I thought about the other books I have by Sawyer Bennett, and I have a lot, she writes an array of emotions for us the reader/listener without getting too dark and gritty.

Thanks to Maggie, Bridger gets the confidence to confront his demons and find peace. Lee Samuels gives so much emotion to Bridger you don't want him to stop talking; and you'll have sweet tears at the epilogue.

I adore this story and series. Although I'm sad for it to end I know Sawyer has new stories coming our way with new characters for us love....she just writes that way.

Kirsten Leigh and Lee Samuels performed the entire series. Their a perfect combination with each other and Sawyer.

Absolutely worth a credit/$$. I'll be visiting the Wicked Horse and Silo from time to time.

I wanted this to be the best of the series

All throughout the series Bridger had my attention. He was the most intriguing character and I couldn't wait to read his story. Unfortunately this story lacked in so many ways from the first two (I skipped three to read Bridget's story). I simply didn't find the relationship between Bridger and Maggie believable. Why would he fall for a woman who really has done nothing with her life - zero - but give birth to a daughter and run from Zeke? Because she's been tortured? Please. I'm really disappointed Bridger didn't get a partner with a better story than Mags. I loved Belle, and I like thinking of Bridger with a family, and Bridger's back story turned out believable, but I'm not buying the attraction to a girl who's history is partying, drugs, and being Zeke's whore. Great Audio performance. Disappointing story.

The BEST for Last!

Absolutely wickedly delicious with strong yet broken characters, an intriguing story and yummy sexy times. This book is my favorite so far, probably because I had been intrigued by the mystery man of the series. Well produced audiobook was a great listening experience.

Not as expected

Based on reviews I got all the books in this series. Unfortunately for me I was not so impressed with this series. It did not grab me as I expected it to do. To me it's just an average series. I wish I'd used my credits on other more stimulating books.

Bridger's story

Would you consider the audio edition of Wicked Bond to be better than the print version?

Yes. I like the continuity of using the same narrator for all the Wicked stories. The audio makes the book come to life.

What other book might you compare Wicked Bond to and why?

Can't think of one.

Have you listened to any of Kirsten Leigh and Lee Samuels ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I like the consistency they keep within Sawyer's characters.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Bridger, depraved and damaged yet a bit tamer than expected.

Any additional comments?

All the books in this series have been hot and nasty but with a story. I like them more for the trip she takes us into the psyche of Bridger, Woolf, Logan, Cain, et al. Each one has their own book, each one hotter than the next. Bridger's story is a bit tamer than I expected, probably because Sawyer went into more explanation on why he is more depraved, damaged, and ruthless than any other the leads in the other books. It is a tearjerker of a sort because what happened to him shouldn't happen to anyone.

The Cycle of Abuse

If every victim of sexual or physical abuse were allowed to inflict pain and suffering on the next generation, the cycle of abuse would never end.

While sympathetic to the sexual and emotional abuse that Bridger endured as a boy, I didn't understand why Bridger believed his past gave him the right to beat, torture and rape.

Although Maggie was desperately trying to hide from a vicious gang, it didn't seem like she was any safer with Bridger, an unrepentant sexual predator.

Since Bridger did not like or respect the female gender, the idea that he would lift a finger or risk his own safety to help a mere woman was laughable.

Considering that SB is an incredibly gifted author who can create engrossing characters, I am disappointed when she appears to condone selfish, barbaric behavior toward women.

My Favorite of the Series

I loved this story for its twists and turns and for its ability to raise hope in the darkest of hearts! I was thrilled to witness the blossoming of Bridgers heart and the destruction of his past! It pains me to know that there are people in this world with such darkness within them! This story should be an inspiration for those troubled souls!! I will partake of Bridgers journey again!
