Magick, Mischief & Kilts!
Contemporary Scottish Paranormal Romance

Charlotte Carver is going insane - suffering with everything from memory loss, to hallucinations, to phantom conversations she can’t recall having. Something tells her it’s not a coincidence that it all started when the MacGregor family moved to town, and the one person who knows what’s going on is the last person Charlotte would ask for help. Her new landlord, Niall MacGregor, is not the most approachable man, but that hasn’t stopped the brooding Scottish biker from invading her dreams.

Motorcycle-riding werewolf Niall MacGregor is the longtime supernatural enforcer for his warlock family. He has regretted more than a few things he’s done in the name of duty, but taking Charlotte’s memories is the biggest. It was necessary, to both protect the family and save Charlotte’s sanity. But the intimate glimpse into her mind has only made him want things he can never have - including the gorgeous, brave woman herself.

When luck finds Charlotte’s memories returning, her attraction to Niall explodes, thrusting her into a magickal world. There is little time to adjust as another of Niall’s past regrets has come back to threaten everything they hold dear.

Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love. And Uncle Raibeart.

Love These Scots

Spirits & Spalls is a good book but sad. Everything taken from Charlotte is horrible. I love this family, I can't wait to listen to the next book.

Loved It

I really enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. I was fascinated by Charlotte- sorry for what she's going through- but so captivating to find out more. I loved Niall. He attracted me from the start. I couldn't wait to see where this book would go!

Another wonderful narration by Michael Ferraiuolo! I absolutely love his accents and he does a great job with the different characters' voices.

Iain and Jane

This is an enjoyable paranormal romance with well-written interesting characters who are part of a family of warlocks who are also shape-shifters. As well as the unsuspecting ladies who win their hearts and complete them. We meet Iain and his family, brothers, cousins, uncles, aunts and cousins. It's well-written and a great paranormal treat. This book has humour, romance and drama.

I loved the thrilling paranormal element as well as the romance and the chemistry. In the earlier books I didn't take much to Iain but in this story we get to know him better and see his softer side. Jane is a lovely character and together they are perfect.

I just adore the narration by Michael Ferraiuolo his Scottish accents are so good.

I didn't want to put this one down and ended up listening late into the night. I'm looking forward to the next book. I love this series and the characters

Crazy Charlotte

Spirits and Spells is about Charlotte Carver. Since the first book, Charlotte's memory has been taken by Niall MacGregor to protect the MacGregor family. Ever since that confrontation, Charlotte has been losing time, hallucinating, seeing ghosts, and hearing voices in her heads. She knows that the town people calls her Crazy Charlotte and that she has been talking to herself.

Niall took away Charlotte's memory when she was used as a vessel by the supernatural to drain Ian's magical power. For a human to absorb so much power could have ramification. The best thing he could do was removed Charlotte's memory and to have his family and him to watch over her.

When Dar has brushed against Charlotte, Charlotte was remembering things that she couldn't understand and was putting the pieces together since that night.

Charlotte and Niall's story does lack the humor from the prior books in the series. This story was a bit serious. Charlotte knew that somehow that Niall and his family is behind what has happened to her. Niall is grumpy and riddled with guilt of removing Charlotte's memory of that night. As the saying goes, "No good intentions go unpunished."

When a wraith decided to use Charlotte to further her revenge against the MacGregor family, Charlotte would have to chose who she can trust.

I just love, love the narrator, Michael Ferraiuolo's Scottish accent for the MacGregor clan.

Original and Captivating!

This is the fifth book in the Warlocks MacGregor Series, a Contemporary Scottish Paranormal Romance. Charlotte and Niell’s story is well written and captivating. They are both interesting characters. The world building is enthralling and original. I like spirit stories. The MacGregors are amazing! Looking forward to listening to Kisses and Curses, the next book in the series. Niall

Niall MacGregor has felt the responsibility for the protection of the MacGregor Clan.  I guess you could say he is the family enforcer.  Niall feels uneasy about the way he removed Charlotte’s memories of a frightening supernatural event and her problems since then.  Because of this, he cannot bring himself to tell her he loves her.  He doesn’t know how she feels about him.  This story is a bit more emotional than other stories in the series, but still has plenty of fun and lots MacGregor mischief.  It has action, secrets, ghosts and other nasty creatures, including a wraith.  The characters are typical MacGregors and some not-so-nice paranormal creatures.   The story is exciting and entertaining and has a hilarious happy ending.  Michael Ferraiuolo’s narration is excellent.

Fantastic

This is a fantastic series. Each book can be read independently but I highly recommend reading them all. The MacGregors are a very interesting family.

Mind-Wiping, Broody Hot Scot Shifter Finds Love

This is an immensely enjoyable audiobook! Part of what makes it so fun, I think, is how the narrator voices the paranormal MacGregor brothers with appropriate Scottish accents. Such a hot accent! This book also has a fair amount of humor, which I also love, especially in a book that could have otherwise been quite serious, which this one certainly could have been given the mental anguish of the heroine. I also enjoyed all the often humorous family interactions between the very different brothers and their mother … she with her children (whom she sometimes despairs of, for different reasons) and the heroine. As I stated above, the poor heroine is really suffering, especially in the first part of the book. She thinks she's losing her mind … and she literally is, thanks to the hero wiping out parts of her memory! I'll let you discover why if you decide to read or listen to this book, but it's not done with malice, and he believes it is for her protection. The hero is a somewhat sullen loner, a protector type who has given up a lot to protect his family over the centuries. The hero and heroine start off somewhat adversarial but have an attraction that both want to deny … but do you think they will be able to for long? I've read or listened to many other books by this author, and I like how she sideways mentioned some characters in her other series, like the Var and Draig shifters living on Earth, in this story. Nice way to tie everything together, even if it's in the smallest of ways. I enjoyed this book immensely, and I'm looking forward to listening to the next one!

Niall and Charlotte

Niall is the supernatural enforcer/hunter for his warlock family. When magical creatures start causing problems, Niall is sent to take care of them. The MacGregor family call for Niall to remove Charlotte’s memories. He does it to help save her sanity. She was used by a supernatural force to attack one of the brothers. Now Charlotte is struggling with multiple gaps in her memories. She is dubbed “Crazy Charlotte” by his Uncle Ralibert. Niall is protecting Charlotte. He regrets taking her memories. He loves her. He knows that being a hunter doesn’t make him mate material.
Charlotte has been able to see her best friend’s deceased grandmother. But now she is worried about time lapses, gaps in her memory and seizures. Doctors can not find out what is wrong. It all started when the MacGregors moved into town. Niall is the worst. Now he is her landlord. Really her slumlord since he won’t answer her messages to fix the water leak in her ceiling.
An encounter with hamster looking character suddenly starts clearing up her mind. Niall is the key.
Audiobook is great to listen to the accents and add to the story. Lots of magic, chemistry, antics with the MacGregors, family loyalty, fated mate, supernatural forces good and bad, secret love, bad boy persona and HEA.
