the good parts are Worth the slow parts

The series is getting better with each book. Its a super slow burn for romance.

I wish the narrator would have used a different voice for a few of the male characters. A few make voices sound grandfather old instead of sexy, that's the only reason it is missing the 5th star. Still a good narrator :)

The story is getting better and better plus there was a short k pop mention so 5 stars. A few slow/repetitive spots keep having me zone out for a few minutes, but once I have an idea in my head of how an area looks I speed past those descriptions in normal reading from a book as well.

Still has me interested 4 books in

Wow, book 4 has the most deaths so far, then add in an enthrallment and wolf submissions. Sasha’s friends are falling right and left, and she thinks it’s because of her. She’s hung up on Baba Yaga or Chester being responsible, but Baba Yaga and Gaius both eventually reveal their motivations.
The only thing that didn’t work for me was the ending where Sasha was in the head space talking to her father, Rasputin, and decides to go rescue him. Please! I’m 4 books in, so yes, I’ll check out the next installment, but with reservations. I’m happy to have found this series through Audible’s Escape plan.
Durante does a decent job of narration.
Recommend for those who like supernatural with very little to no sex, mostly wishful thinking.

Suprising

I am not sure what I was expecting with this series, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I think I thought it was going to be more lighthearted, like Molly Harper. It ins't. It is more like an Ilona Andrews novel. I am enjoying this series so much, I am on book 5 after only 2 days.

The only criticism I have is that I have to hear "limbal ring" one more time, I will probably scream.

Emily Durante is a great choice for narrating this series.

Whole Series available on Audible Escape for free!

First off, Sasha tells another person her whole life story and every detail of previous books. When is she gonna learn that information is valuable and she gives it away to those who could betray he? It's a ver annoying and dumb character trait 😒.

What is it with all these authors feeling they have to make their lead females so dumb? As with the other books, Sasha makes more dumb decisions and someone ens up paying the ultimate price 😥.

There is quite a bit of action that happens both in her visions and in real time. This is a big plus because listening to her inner dialogue go on & on can be a turn off.

Sasha probably uses her powers in the best way in this book but continues the antics of going off alone. Of course she makes it out of situations because of those around her more than her own actions. But she does actually "help" in this one.

Finally a spark of actual romance in this one. Oh course if you've read until this point you are aware of the options available to Sasha. My opinion only but I think this is the book she makes her decision. By the way she reacts, I think we have a winner!!!

:( We lose some loved ones! Sob!

Sleight of Fantasy
Sasha Urban Series, Book 4
By: Dima Zales, Anna Zaires
Narrated by: Emily Durante
I love this series! This book has many things come together and it ends good and bad! Sob! Some of our loved characters don't make it and others will probably be more involved. Lots of action and new supernatural fun comes up. Great interactions between characters, great world building, and that hint of romance.
The narration is terrific.

Love the series!!

This book continues where the previous book dropped off (thank goodness, because it sure did leave me hanging).. there continued to be lots of action and character development utilizing powers...Only angst for me was that there were 2 plot angles that were so glaring obvious and almost had me screaming for Sasha to Wake Up and remember details from the prior books (I knew them, author had her know them.. ummmm.. quit being so stupid). I gave this book a five star rating, for the authors capability to ensnare me into the story and actually make me have the capability to be upset that a smart character was being so silly. The narrator does an excellent job and the different characters were easily distinguishable. Very much worth a credit and will definitely be waiting for the next book in the series.

So full of herself

I didn’t like how Sasha seemed so full of her own value in this book. Things do effects her but ‘come on!!!’ Plus, ‘just kiss the boy!’

Need More Saha Urban!

So I'm a few books in and I still have several questions. My first is a bit of confusion, in book one Rose's apartment was on the ground floor of the building. In this book she was next door. My second is who is her mother and my third is what kind of being is Nero? The series is still really good and I'm still off to the next book. I'll let you know if any of my questions get answered. And as much as I love reading spoilers I just can't in all consciousness write a review with them. On to the next!!!

The amazing fantasy continues

I love the intensifying chemistry between Nero and Sasha. I love how everything keeps me on my toes. Such a wonderful adventure. The characters are always adjusting and changing in their relationships and dynamics as in real life. A really wonderful series.
