Brilliantly written
This was so well written. Would definitely recommend. I wasn't sure if I would like it due to the split ending but I loved it.

very good
thought this was a good book. felt very much like a female narrative of a male character with max and didn't quite come across as strongly as a true version of his perspective, but otherwise really good. very sad.

Wow
this book is not like the other books by the author but i was gripped from the start. One review I read give the outcome away so I will try to review without spoilers.
beautful characters, heartwrenching decisions, and hope .
Not an easy read/listen by any means due to the subject matter. I did find aspects of the book confusing (lots of jumping around) but once I was on track it was fine.

After the end
I found this book very emotional and heart warming. As with many of the reviews there was quite a few tears. Also three people reading this book made the characters very real. A very enjoyable book l didn’t want it to end. First class writing.

Moving, beautiful and emotive
Such a heart wrenching story, about every parents worst fear. It has an unexpected twist in middle which makes this story something really remarkable and different from anything I have ever read before.

Magnificent
I lost my nephew 11 years ago aged 21. When I started listening to this book I wasn’t sure I could continue but as with all of Claire’s books that I have listened to I couldn’t stop listening. What an Author.
