Publisher's summary

One Hundred Christmas Kisses is a holiday story you won't want to miss. Kelly Collins invites you to celebrate a small-town Christmas in Aspen Cove, where North Star wishes, and love’s first kisses have the power to heal.

It’s been a decade since veterinarian Charlotte Parker has been home to Aspen Cove. After the death of her mother, she hasn’t been able to bring herself to face her painful past. But, if ever there’s a time to start over, it’s Christmas. What she doesn’t expect is to find the man of her dreams staying in the room next to hers at B’s bed and breakfast.

War hero Trig Whatley is looking for a place to call home. Since losing his leg in Afghanistan, he hasn’t found a place to fit in or a woman who can see him for the strong, whole man he is. When he accepts his friend’s invitation to come for a visit, he discovers so much more is waiting for him in the tiny mountain town than just a good time.

Will Charlotte and Trig find their forever under the mistletoe or will they go their separate ways by the time everyone in town is singing Auld Lang Syne? Find out in One Hundred Christmas Kisses.

Sweet Short Christmas Love

This short novella was my first introduction to Kelly Collins and the Aspen Cove series of books and was I impressed! This story was a quick, fast-paced listen which was totally enjoyable. It happens about half way through the Aspen Cove series but I did not feel lost at all. It really stood alone. In this story Charlotte Parker, is home for the holiday after being away for 10 years following her mother’s death. Staying at the local B&B she clashes with the guy next door, Trig Whatley, an ex-soldier who lost his leg in Afghanistan. The sparks fly and Charlotte and Trig navigate their budding romance. The characters are well written and enjoyable with lots of feistiness. Trig’s disability was portrayed well and an important part of the story line. Overall, an enjoyable listen.

Logan McAllister is also a new narrator for me and I totally enjoyed him. He has a smooth sexy voice that was easy to listen to. He voiced the characters well and was able to do the female voices well. I will look him up for future listens.

I look forward to listening to more of the Aspen Cove series and enjoying this new-to-me author.

Nice sweet Christmas Story

Charlotte hasn’t been home since her mom passed away ten years ago. On her way home, she comes across a stranded motorist and his dog. Trig is a war veteran suffering from the belief that no one could love him as he believed he was no longer whole, due to losing his leg. The story is sweet and shows sometimes we push our own feelings on others. Like the way Trig becomes more aware that his feelings about himself is not how everyone views him.

Warms the heart!

Aspen Cove is a wonderful small town, but it's an even better place to celebrate Christmas. It's time for Charlotte to make amends with her father, after blaming him for not being able to save her mother. He's the town doctor, after all, but ten years is a very long time and she truly wants to see her father. Trig and his dog, Clovis, are on their way to Aspen Cove to see his buddy that served with him in Afghanistan where he lost his leg. He hasn't come to terms with his injury and is unable to see himself as a whole man, but the first time he sees Charlie, there's something in her eyes that draws him in. There is a lot of sadness in this story, but it's not the heartbreaking kind. It's more of a journey for two people to find peace and solace individually and together. Clovis is the source of amusement and loyalty and her father fully redeems himself in his daughter's eyes, as she is finally able to separate the truth from her pain.
Logan McAllister does a tremendous job with the narration. His dynamic voice and depth of emotion instill a realism to each character that is unique.

Enjoyed!

I've not read any other books in the series, but it didn't matter. The narrator did a great job with the characters. A few tricky parts not for children's ears. So just be aware in case you listen to audio in the car. Great war warrior finds love story.

Great Read

One Hundred Christmas Kisses (Aspen Cove #6) was a good read by Kelly Collins. Veterinarian Charlotte Parker hasn’t been home to Aspen Cove in a decade. She never expected to find the man of her dreams staying next to her at B’s Bed and Breakfast. Trig Whatley is a war hero is looking for a place to call home. He lost his leg in Afghanistan and hasn’t found the right place or woman for him. I really enjoyed reading Charlotte and Trig’s story and cant wait to read more by the author.

A Special Christmas Romance💜

Kelly Collins has a way of bringing real people together in Aspen Cove. No matter their circumstance or what kind of trouble they are in there’s always an HEA.
I love these small town romances where anything is possible. I wished (pun intended) that every town had a wish board. Thank you Kelly for another amazing visit to Aspen Cove. Logan McAllister brilliantly narrates this series in a way that brings each character to life. Well done.
This is book 6 and a Christmas novella and can be read as a standalone.
I highly recommend this book/series.
