Publisher's summary

Instant Number-One New York Times and Wall Street Journal Best Seller

“Fast-paced...pulse-pounding...supremely entertaining…. His best ever.” (The Washington Times)

“If you love thrillers…if you’ve ever read a thriller you enjoyed…if you think you *might* like a thriller…you HAVE to order Brad Thor’s Near Dark. This might be the single greatest thriller I’ve covered on The Real Book Spy. It’s amazing!” (The Real Book Spy)

Scot Harvath returns in the newest thriller from number-one New York Times best-selling author Brad Thor.

The world’s largest bounty has just been placed upon America’s top spy. His only hope for survival is to outwit, outrun, and outlast his enemies long enough to get to the truth.

But for Scot Harvath to accomplish his most dangerous mission ever - one that has already claimed the lives of the people closest to him, including his new wife - he’s going to need help - a lot of it.

Not knowing whom he can trust, Harvath finds an unlikely ally in Norwegian intelligence operative Sølvi Kolstad. Just as smart, just as deadly, and just as determined, she not only has the skills but also the broken, troubled past to match Harvath’s own.

Grand Slam!

Brad Thor knocked this one so far out of the park, it is still going. The hat trick of all Thor Thrillers!

Great Book and Reading!!

First Brad Thor book. Moves well from the first 'page' and then builds with excitement from there.

Good as always...but....

A fun story....lots of build up, and poof, it was over.
Glossed over too much near the end....went from storytelling to a cliffnotes version of events.

The continuing story of Scott Harvath

It was good to get my mind of things for awhile. I finished it in a couple days. The narration wasn't very good. Especially when reading in the other characters. Looking forward to the next book and how Scott is lead back into the fight.

Good story but...

As I listened, I felt there was a significant amount of "detail filler" to fill out the desired length.
I liked it. I'd rather a woman narrate the female parts.

Another great Scot Harvath story

they all just seem too short. I would have liked a bit more action. It had a lot of introspective on the characters and story development and leads into what is to come next. I don't want to give anything away so thats it for now.
