“Max’s advice can be followed by almost anyone in almost any profession. It is the guidebook I wish I had when I was 19 and starting out at Google. From working in corporate to building a startup, Career Hacking for Millennials would’ve saved me from learning the hard way, time and time again.” (Falon Fatemi; Google’s youngest employee at 19, co-founder and CEO of Node.io, backed by Mark Cuban)

A Must Read for All Driven Men/Women Ages 19-32

Where does Career Hacking for Millennials rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's definitely at the top. I've been reading a lot of books to try to figure out my future career path and none of them had as many easy to execute tactics to assist me. Career Hacking was amazing because I feel like I walked away from it with a ton of useful ways to improve my work life immediately.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Since the book was based on Max's life (the author) - I would obviously choose him. His story was really relatable. It wasn't all lecture-y like other books I've listened to recently. He told his story of success and what he'd learned from his successes and failures.

Which scene was your favorite?

I absolutely LOVED section 3 where he went into detail on how to improve your mind/body/soul and how it effects your career. I haven't seen any other author talk about his area of your life, but I know it is crucial! I already started journaling this morning and I feel lighter and more excited about my work day ahead.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I definitely laughed out loud a few times. His writing is really witty and some of the stories he shares are funny.

Any additional comments?

I've already texted a few friends that they need to read it. I honestly think it is a book everyone ages 19-32 should read. We are all trying to move up in our careers but there isn't a written guide out there that details how to do it, until Career Hacking.

It's alright.

If you regularly look at articles and information online, it won't be anything new. If you're new to this kind of content, it could very well be a useful compilation of information!

Must read for career growth and wantrepreneurs.

Max shared very useful advice that can help any student boost his/her career. As a startup founder and an early employee at Udemy his exposure to the revenue/business development side jump-started his professional career and lead him to become a successful entrepreneur.

Basic

Information conveyed in this book is rudimentary for the most part. Should be marketed as a guide for high school students.
