Publisher's summary

Haley has waited her whole life for Wes. They were secret sweethearts all throughout school until he shocks her by joining the military right after graduation. Heartbroken, Haley must wait until the day he comes home. But it has been five long years, and she has finally decided to move on with her life. That is, until he walks back into town, sexier than ever.

Wes has had one thing on his mind since leaving town, getting back to Haley. His experiences overseas have made him realize what he almost let slip through his fingers. All he wants now is to prove to her that waiting for him was the right choice.

Special song written by Jill Sanders, sung by Gina Langford.

Another great addition to the series!

This may be my favorite in this series so far. I loved the push and pull from these characters. I've been curious about Haley from the start, and I love that she got a second chance story.

Once again the narration was very well done. I can't wait to listen to the rest of the series.

A good end to this series

This is the last story of the sweet West Series about three sisters finding love. Sisters , that lost their mother when they were young, during a tornado.
Haley is the youngest one and the one whose secret boyfriend, Wes, left her after graduation to join the army. She was devastated and had not dated anyone else. Five years later, Wes returns to town, injured and wanting to get back with Haley.
It’s a sweet , at times heartbreaking story but also one filled with hope and second chance romance.
A reminder that our experiences in our childhood, affect us deeply . A good end to this series.
I was gifted this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Haley has always loved Wes.

Haley has loved Wes most of her life. He abruptly left her and joined the military. Now he is back in town and she doesn't know if she wants to rekindle what they had before. He had hurt her so bad and she has closed her heart off while he was gone. Wes has been injured and doesn't want anyone to know the extent of his injuries. Haley just sees it as he is shutting her out again. Can they get past all of that and love again?

Romance Reignited

Any additional comments?

Haley and Wes loved each other since 2nd grade. However, after high school, Wes joined the military and left Haley with many unanswered questions. Upon Wes' return from the service, he wants to pick up where they left off and Haley is very hesitant. It's a very sweet, romantic read. I love how the series continues on with the sister's lives as well. The story covers many emotions and obstacles - but luckily, love conquers all!
Roy does an excellent job narrating the book. He definitely does the men justice in these books! I wish he was a bit better with the female voices, but he really is nice to listen to!

No worthy of the series

The hero is overly aggressive and should have been charged for all of the unwanted advances and stalking in the first 4 chapters.

The H - Grrr!

Overall opinion: 2.75 Stars

In the beginning, the H is a cowardly and very selfish piece of garbage who wants to see the world unencumbered. He is gone for 6 years, then comes back expecting that his doormat is still there. The h is essentially the doormat and, with very little effort, is back with the H.
