Publisher's summary

As with everything else in my life, the descent into Hell was not so simple.

When I jumped into the portal, I expected to find the Sins on the other side. I expected to find my people - demons - waiting and ready. What I found were flames and fire and ash.

The apocalypse hadn't waited for me. It had already begun. Hell's barriers were collapsing in on themselves - making my task of finding the Sins infinitely harder. As the Horsemen and I set out on our journey to find them, we discover that not all is what it seems.

A white-haired assassin once told me to beware of the evil that hides in plain sight. I should have listened to her.

The fight for Hell has begun, and the duty of saving it lies solely on my shoulders, but to win - to survive - I must unravel the secrets of the past if any of us are to see the future.

I will take what is mine, even if I have to bleed for it.

Contains mature themes.

After three cryptic books, so many info dumps

Underwhelmed. Three books of mysterious events with no one explaining anything (what’s with Ruby’s transition? Why was Ruby raised in secrecy? How do the connection to the Horsemen work? What’s with the Fae?). Then, halfway through this book, it’s nothing but huge info dumps explaining everything with convoluted mythology and not at all credible reasoning. I’m really just flummoxed.

I wish the author had taken more time to write these books and spent more focus on better characters, dialogue, action, and humor. I never found much in Ruby or her Horsemen to draw me in- bestie Moira and the trash panda were far more engaging characters. I also think this would have played better without the smut and all the F bombs. This last book was the closest to the urban fantasy romance I could have loved. But, it was too little quality, too late for me to feel more than a mild like for this book.

Loved it!

I have so much love for this series I just can't tell you! I've loved each and every one of the books. They are so well written that I actually miss the characters each time I finish one and have to wait for the next. I swear Bandit has got to be my favorite! Love that little bugger! The narration is beyond fantastic. You need to read this series. It's worth every penny!

Had to read it to finish the series …. ...

I liked the last hour … it wound up the three earlier books in the series. Thankfully, there was much less funky sex in this book -- you can just about skip book 3 entirely as it mostly consists of the female lead moaning for sex and a lot of in depth descriptions of very funky sex scenes -- multiple partners at a time, multiple orifices at a time -- and the consequences thereof -- I have to say, I loved the first two books, if the author had continued on with the same sassy, woman in control, "prove you are worth my affection" attitude, and continued requiring the men to learn to treat her as an adult capable of rational thought and reasoning, and then finished off book 4 with her acceptance of them and the sexual activities, I'd have five starred all four books all around even with the funky submissive sex … luckily, book four completed the series, as I don't think I could have waded through any more "I love pain" comments, whining for sex, biting til the partner bleeds, etc etc to get to the (actually very satisfactory) conclusion of the book series.

Awesome series!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series! I listened to it twice. I thought the first and last books were the best. The characters and voices were perfectly matched so that I could picture each one. The storyline was a unique one and so good. I truly hated for it to end. Definitely listen to it!

Me encanto !!

The story is amazing

This series was hard to turn off. Enjoyed it immensely. There was a spot in the series where I had to hold back tears, I don’t cry very easily. Well done to the author and performers

just really fun

There are a lot of really witty passages. Tongue in cheek humor. A fun storyline. A racoon. A hell hound. Puppies. Drama. Primordial and Fae and demons. This is just a really fun book at the end of a fun fantasy series that is Smut+. I don't care for the smut, but I LOVE the writing. The characterization is A+ Dialogue is fantastic. As a fantasy fan who grew up with Wheel of Time, The Hobbit, C.S. Lewis and later found Brandon Sanderson, Joe Abercrombie, Orson Scott Card and other amazing world builders, this series is low fantasy, but still fun enough to be worth it. All hail Bandit.

Perfect blend of everything I love!

When searching for a fantasy book that contains* romance, I unfortunately end up going through a plethora of eroticas that have fairies, vampires, and such, as the main characters. So, when I listened to Lucifer's Daughter, I was SO relieved to have finally found a book with a great storyline, truly lovable characters, and all kinds of feelings involved (not just lust). It wasn't till I finished book 1 that I even realized it was part of a 4 book series (I was stoked!).
Every book in this series was consistent, enthralling, exciting, sexy, and fun! I wish it was easier to find such well told fantasy stories that consist* of romance/sexiness, without sex being the main component, BUT I guess if it were easy then stumbling upon this series wouldn't feel like finding a diamond in the rough ;)
