Publisher's summary

I was for sale, but he didn't buy me. He just took me.

Exiled from Earth by a tyrannical government, I was meant to be sold for use on a distant world. But Vane doesn't buy things. When he wants something, he takes it, and I was no different.

This alien brute didn't just strip me, punish me, and claim me with his whole crew watching. He broke me, making me beg for mercy and then for far more shameful things. Perhaps he would've been gentle if I hadn't defied him in front of his men, but I doubt it. He's not the gentle type.

When he carried me aboard his ship naked, blushing, and sore, I thought I would be no more than a trophy to be shown off or a plaything to amuse him until he tired of me, but I was wrong.

He took me as a prize, but he's keeping me as his mate.

Publisher's Note: Prize includes spankings, rough sexual scenes, intense and humiliating punishments, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

Love it soo much!!

This has got to be one of my favorite Sara Fields books yet! Sara never fails to add the heat we love so much!! I really enjoyed the story line as well though and am very intrigued to know more! I know this is a standalone but I would love to hear more on this line.

The narration was awesome! Ramona and Guillaume really brought the characters to life and were a pleasure to listen to. I LOOOOVE the feeling and acting they brought to the table. I would love to hear more from them.

out of this world!!

The Prize is super sharp, dark and deliciously sexy listen with a well-built plot. Nina, a bad a$$ aberrant, is feisty and fierce, despite her circumstances. Vane and Nina together are HOT!!

I LOVE Sara Fields imaginative and out of this world SciFi Alien Romance novels. Her writing style is awesome. Listening is even better. Ramona Masters and Guillaume Dubois brought the characters and story to life. Thank you for the great listen.

Adventure in a top alpha world

Please pay attention to the author's warning. The punishments are extremely harsh and brutal, but many will not realize that Nina, even though she doesn't understand the feelings she has, is a masochist. Ms Fields' futuristic society is a "dog eat dog" world. If a leader doesn't show his total dominance, he will die. Also if you don't conform to society's rules, you are sold to the highest bidder to become a slave or worse. Nina is on her way to be sold when her space ship is captured and all the humans are taken. They are captured by one of the most brutal pirates who plans on selling them for his own profit. When Vane sees Nina he decides to make her his own. This is the beginning of several brutal punishments, because Nina speaks her mind. I think that Vane is drawn to her for this reason but he can't tolerate it especially in front of his men. Sara Fields uses her creative imagination to give Nina several times to display her bravery and determination to save the humans who are with her. However, there were a few few questions that were not addressed. The narrators did an outstanding job of letting us feel the emotions and witness the personalities of these characters. I loved listening to them.

Great read

I enjoy the book, wish there’s a little bit more time for the two main characters to love each other but it’s good. Ramona Masters & Guillaume Dubois did an amazing job at narrating

Terrific Story & Listen🎧Riveting SciFi🔥Romance🔥

I thoroughly enjoyed this SciFi Alien Romance novel. Sara Fields is a master at creating fascinating stories that are out of this word and this prize of a story is no exception. The characters and storylines are imaginative and well developed, amazing world build up too. The story is futurist set in 2465, life on Earth is nothing like it is today. Anyone who has children only have them until they are 21, after that they never see them again, they are sent to a different sector depending on the results of the tests they are subjected to. If that test determines a person to be an “aberrant” they are treated like criminals and are sent off to live on another planets, to be sold off to aliens. Nina turned 21 and test results showed she was an aberrant, she was given a chose of two planets and she chose the one she knew the least of because the other alternate was a guarantee death. She and a number of other aberrants are loaded on a space ship to head to their destined planet but they never make it there, the ship is attacked by space pirates, lead by the most feared pirate Vane, they killed off the crew and took all who were with Nina in custody, to be sold off. Nina bravely speaks up while the rest of the captives shrink in fear, she catches Vane attention and he decides he is going to keep her but he will have to teach her how to be obedient. Holy moly what he does to her in front of the crew and the rest of the captives. He wants to set an example of her, to make sure no one else steps out of line. He also likes her feistiness and the challenge she presents. I like Nina’s strength and courage, also liked how she looked out for the others and tried to do the right thing for them. Vane is a brut of an alpha but he also had a heart. I loved how everything plays out in this book, the story is greatly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, some twists and turns, some BDSM sexy times and hot romance. Sara Fields thank you for another fascinating story, I love how you think outside the box and take your readers for an out of this world experience.

Ramona Masters and Guillaume Dubois are fantastic narrators and voice artists. They were perfectly cast to bring these characters to life, giving each their own voice. They do an awesome job portraying the characters, capturing their persona as well as their emotions, performing each role with perfection. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen🎧

Wow... in a very good way!

I picked this book because I thought would be interesting. and different. And I wasn't wrong. This book was crazy! I grew up in NJ around the time of Columbine. I think I was in like 7th grade when that happened. It was the school shooting that started all school shootings. I remember how much fear happened because of it. This book brought back a lot of memories from that time. But I did really enjoy reading/listening to this. It was very well written and it did what a good book is supposed to do. It brought a bunch of memories and feeling to the surface. The narrator was awesome also. I definitely recommend it

Sci-Fi Romance

Prize by Sara Fields is a standalone sci-fi romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Ramona Masters and Guillaume Dubois.

The book does come with a Publisher's Note: Prize includes spankings, rough sexual scenes, intense and humiliating punishments, and strong D/s themes. If such material offends you, please don't buy this book.

I absolutely love Sara’s books! She always leaves me begging for more. I will tell readers to take the publisher’s notes to heart. Sara writes very steamy and degrading scenes which are not for everyone. I really enjoyed getting Nina and Vane’s points of view throughout the story.

Ramona and Guillaume did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

Great book

The author does a great job moving the story along and showing how things work between humans and aliens. I enjoyed the different aspects of the ships and planets that where brought out to help you feel like it was set in space. The narrators do a good job trading off and keeping you engaged in wanting to hear more. It is a good read. I do caution those not into hard core dominance as the author puts in a lot of detail in that aspect also. #AudioBookObsession#PinkFlamingoProduction#Flockreview
