Publisher's summary

Gabriel Legend is unlike any other man I’ve ever met.

He came into my life like a hurricane, shattering all my assumptions and preconceived notions.

I wasn’t prepared for him. I wasn’t prepared for any of it.

But life doesn’t wait until you’re ready.

Whatever happens next, I know one thing for certain.

I will never be the same Scarlett I was before I met him.

House of Scarlett is the second book of the Legend Trilogy and should be enjoyed following The Fall of Legend. Scarlett and Legend’s story concludes in The Fight for Forever.

Meghan March - what happened?

I just can't get into this series. I feel like nothing of importance is happening, and it's just not like her regular writing style. Doesn't hold a candle to the Beneath series.

a different side of Gabriel

You see Gabriel as a more helpful and caring man. He not only continues to help Bump but he plays nursemaid to Scarlett after her surgery. He is still aggressive and possessive with her but he'll do anything for her. Cant wait for their conclusion in the next book.

Rollercoaster ride of emotions!!

I'm so in love with Gabriel's fierce protectiveness over Scarlett. He had an instant attraction and it seemed to overwhelm me... it caused a slight obsession. Scarlett was finally ready to dive in when Gabe pulled the breaks... I was busy yelling at them both and wanting to knock heads together! They had me struggling with emotional whiplash!

Meghan March has a way about her writing. I felt so much in this second installment of Scarlett and Gabriel's story. This one felt so compelling and I felt so emotionally invested... perhaps even a bit tortured! The narration added another layer as well. Erin Mallon is probably one of my favorite narrators. She has to be in the top five. Her voice melding with Joe Arden's is so fantastic. He's strong and deep. They have a fantastic chemistry.

House of Scarlett Audio Review

BOOK REVIEW
15/250
House of Scarlett by Meghan March
3/5 stars
In House of Scarlett we pick up right where we left off in Fall of Legend and Scarlett and Gabe are not together, but they don't stay that way too long. Scarlett has a medical scare and that is all it takes to have Gabe rushing back into her life. The House of Scarlett follows Gabe and Scarlett as they work to stay together while outside forces are constantly working to keep them apart. The book does not end on a major cliffhanger, but leaves you wanting to read the third installment soon to finish off this trilogy. As always, I love the mix of spicy romance and drama filled plot we get with Meghan March books as well as the cameos of characters from other books. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are 100% golden in this narration and kept my attention throughout. Review for the final book coming SOON!

Dramatic much!

Too much dramatics for me. Definitely made this book more than it actually is. All of these books could have been combined 🙄

Good book, one good reader

The book is good not one of Meghan March's best but still entertaining. But Erin Mallon's reading style is hard to get past. Every sentence ends in an ominous, overactive tone. She's a good reader otherwise. I wish she could fix it or Meghan could pick a different reader. Joe Arden is good as always.

What a cliffhanger!

Scarlet and Gabriel come from different worlds and if Gabe has his way his past will never touch her. But Scarlet is a woman who fights for what she wants and she has her eye set on the infamous Gabriel Legend.
