Publisher's summary

Breslin - I was in love with Asher Holden the moment I saw him...and I knew nothing would ever be the same. Then he hurt me. He wrecked me. He ruined me. I spent three years putting myself together - fixing what he broke. I never thought I'd see him again after that day. I was counting on it. Little did I know - life had other plans...and things were going to become a lot more complicated.

Asher - I finally know who I am. I own it, I embrace it...I'm no longer afraid. I live my life with no regrets now, because I've learned my lesson - the hard way. I thought I had it all figured out. But then my past collides with my present...and things become complicated. Turns out I don't really know myself after all.

Landon - My life was all mapped out. I knew exactly what direction I was heading in - I didn't have time for any roadblocks or obstacles. Then I meet her. And him. Now, my heart is split right down the middle. She controls the rhythm. He controls the melody. Complicated doesn't even begin to cover it...and there's only one way this can end.

Warning: This story is for mature readers only, due to language and sexual themes. This duet contains explicit content featuring m/f, m/m, and m/f/m. Reader discretion is advised. Trigger Warning: This story is strange and unconventional. It's everything you hate. That's the only warning I can offer you.

✫✫ 4 Stars ✫✫

This book had me from the first minute. The anticipation started and didn't stop even in the end. I loved Landon & Asher so much, I am a little annoyed that Breslin is going to come in and cause lots of drama for them but I get it, She is THE one! I can't wait to start book two but i'm also dreading all the drama I see coming and I can't imagine a way around it. I'm not a fan of love triangles so I'm really hoping for a circle! Fingers crossed that this author will continue to pull me in and make me like Breslin and book 2 even half as much as I loved Landon/Asher in book 1.

The narration was perfect! Teddy Hamilton & Mia Madison did a great job. The only thing that could have made this any better was giving Asher/Landon two different narrators, it's always a little easier to follow a mostly M/M POV audio when they don't sound the same.

A Painful Beginning

This book was an amazing start to the duet. It gives you a full chance to really settle into who these characters are to each other. It plays on your heart strings and I feel like the best thing about this duet...? The effort the author puts in to make these characters so real and believable. I read so many books and many authors brush past who someone really is for the sake of the plot. What those authors fail to realize... is the depth of who a person is in the story DRIVES the plot. This author has character development down pat.

So hold onto your butts for the best ménage you will ever read.

And with Teddy Hamilton driving this train? Yeah. Just... don’t let go.

Complicated & Angsty!

From the beginning, this book had me hooked. I took the bait and I was done for. There were zero points that I felt I could relax or breathe or take a minute... nope. It was 100% waiting for the next shoe to drop. Waiting for that moment of impact. And it happened. It happened in a big way. It happened in the very last moment of the book leaving me in a cliffhanger mess but THAT WAS OK! I knew it was coming and I was anticipating it.

The layering of the story and the crazy emotion and character build up. I loved it. Loved every moment.

Teddy and Mia were fantastic. Teddy actually had to play 2 male characters and the difference was so distinct that I could tell 100% which was which. I was very impressed.

Team Asher!

I loved Landon and Asher. Teddy Hamilton is perfect! I did not like Breslyn. She was so whiny and unforgiving. we shall see how book 2 goes.

This Book Gives Me the Chills!

I would have to admit that this book had me at the first chapter. I'm finally reviewing this because it deserves to be reviewed and I finally have the time to say what I need to say about these characters. The three main characters had their issues and developed so beautifully that I will have to go back and re-listen in a few short months. I rarely re-listen a book and this series deserves to be re-listen. I mean I listen to hundreds of books and I rarely write a review because I feel like other people have already said what needs to be said, but for me this book needs to mentioned and praised for what it is, a life-changing book because it dives into difficulties individuals with the issues of the main characters experience. I think it is as real as it can get. These characters are not perfect and that is what actually makes them perfect in my eyes.

Ashley Jade, I think I'm in love with your writing and will support you forever now. I recently discovered you felt instantly in love with you. You just earned yourself a new stalker. #SorryNotSorry

The narration is on point. I personally love Teddy Hamilton and he did amazing as always and Mia Madison did awesome as well. I will defiantly keep listening their work in the future.

Amazing, refreshing, addictive, hot as hell

Thank God I have the second part as well... Because there's a major cliffhanger.
Was the first time I read/listen one of Ashley 's books and was freaking fantastic I mean it! 5 stars because I can't give more 😍
I would love to stay and talk about it all night but the second book is calling me. #SorryNotSorry
By the way narration was great and I had no problem to know when one of the main male characters was talking or the other.

Wow

first let me say, yes it has a cliffhanger ending but luckily when I found this book, book 2 is also available!! Waiting is not easy for me, so while I hate that I must have missed this when it first came out, it really works out for me.
I love everything about this book! great story and characters. Oh and hot sex! the narrators did a great job. I could say more but my impatience to start book 2 is more than I can take.

Left me feeling unsettled

I've read some great titles involving polyamorous relationships. I did not realize the characters were going to be so young and immature. That is something I generally try to avoid in the books I chose because I often find it is more irritating and detracting than entertaining.

I think this duet was technically well-written. I loved Landon & Asher and found them and their backstories engaging.

Then there's Breslyn... TBH she was on my nerve as much as she was off it. I couldn't relate to her and often didn't find her all that likable. The depth of the love she claimed to have for Asher did not shine through in her actions at the pivotal point or frankly any point afterward. She had a pretty tough childhood with exposure to a lot of toxic things & people. Because of that, her righteous and homophobic reaction to her high school sweetheart's confessions felt inconsistent with her background and other interactions. I found it hard to gather much empathy for her. Other reviewers indicated all worked out in the end so I really expected her character to be redeemed. Sadly, for me, it was not.

The narrators all gave great performances. They delivered the story with appropriate emotion and context that elevated the story and held your attention.

All in all, it wasn't a bad read. I did love the dynamics around Asher and Landon. The thing is... I didn't like Breslyn or how she treated the guys. Because of that, it is not likely that I will ever relisten to this one.
