we loved it!

My daughter (age 13) loved this so much, I had to find the author's Instagram page and tell her personally. We are definitely looking forward to more from this author.

Great book

A really great story. I hope it becomes a series.
The narrator and background music really did a good job.

Cute story

I got this title for free from Audible Originals because I wanted something upbeat. This book served its purpose. It's an easy listen, good for kids of all ages. Only slightly expected the ending - it was a nice twist.

Great Story!

Pleasure to listen to! It's even hard to actually pause when you have to. Nice reading. Only downside: When Viva's thoughts are read, the volume is too low. In the car, it's barely distinguishable what's being said. If it wasn't for that, full score!

Cute Spunky and Engaging

This is clearly a pre-teen/teen read but this 40 (ahem)-year old thoroughly enjoyed it. I was just as curious as a 14-year-old to know the end. I also made note to try to find some of the spots mentioned as I got a feeling they are very real places in New Orleans. If not, then it will be my mystery to solve (or not).

Treasure in Buttons

Although written for children, this story could easily be adapted as a noir or general mystery for adults. A childrens song , for decades overlooked, is the key to hidden fortune. A determined 14 year old solves the puzzle.

Young Adult - fun mystery solving =)

I liked listening to this while driving around, especially with the added musical aspects of the audio book.
