Publisher's summary

From New York Times best-selling Author Kristen Proby comes the newest installment in her beloved Big Sky series

Jenna Hull owns and manages vacation rentals in her hometown of Cunningham Falls, Montana. She's just completed the construction of her most exhausting project, the one she’s put her heart and soul into. The inviting, opulent Snow Wolf Cottages are the first ski-in/ski-out tree houses in the world. Her biggest dream is about to come true, and she can’t let anything distract her.

Christian Wolfe is Hollywood’s "It" actor. If the magazines are to be believed, he’s the sexiest man on earth. He’s preparing for the biggest movie role of his life, and his agent has booked him in a hot new ski lodge in Montana, tucked away from crazy fans. He can’t wait for the break.

But what Christian isn’t prepared for is Jenna. With a face that could easily co-star with him in a movie and her ambition to put her stamp on Cunningham Falls, he can’t stay away. But even more intriguing than her beauty is the fact that she’s not at all impressed with his celebrity status, only turned on by the man behind the fame.

The love they’ve found is perfect - but time is running out before real life intrudes. Can they survive with both their dreams - and hearts - intact?

Love the characters!

Kissing Jenna is a quick read, not instalove quick, but it is fast-paced, and Christian and Jenna certainly have a strong attraction right from the start. I liked the characters, and Kristen Proby knows her stuff when setting a scene. Speaking of, I absolutely love the tree houses. The romance almost has the feel of an opposites attract story, but not quite. Jenna and Christian definitely come from different worlds, but they fit perfectly together. Naturally, we have to have a bit of angst, and it comes from where I expected. It's also pretty short-lived, which makes for a mostly lighthearted story.
Joan Delware and Lee Samuels were responsible for bringing Jenna and Christian to life, and I enjoyed the listen for the most part. Joan Delware captures the wit and sarcasm that seems to be such a big part of Jenna, and her voice just felt right for the character. Lee Samuels has a rich tone to his voice that I love in audiobooks, but he's a bit dramatic - to the point that he doesn't sound genuine for much of the story. It was kind of like he didn't have a feel for the character at first because the further I got into the book, the more real he sounded. It started feeling like Christian was giving us his part of the story rather than someone else just reading the story to us.
This is the second book in the Big Sky series, but it works very well as a standalone. I will say that now that I've gotten a taste of the series, I'll be checking out more.

Great story and narration

I loved his book and was absolutely captivated not only with the story but the narration from the first to the last chapter. The performance from narrators Lee Samuels and Joan Delware really did justice to the story and they brought the story to life for me.
It was great being back in Cunningham Falls, Montana and I was intrigued by Jenna’s rental properties Snow Wolf Cottages which grabbed my imagination. Imagine her surprise when her latest guest turns out to be Christian Wolfe an “A” list actor who is in town to prepare for his latest project.
The chemistry between Jenna and Christian is too hard to ignore and they soon realize that what they have could become so much more. I loved the banter and friendship that developed between them and that their relationship develop from that.
Will circumstances pull them apart before they get a chance to explore their love? Will one’s dreams have to be sacrificed so that the other can shine? I love stories set in small towns and I felt that the narration by Lee and Joan was spot on as these characters burrowed into my heart.I loved his book and was absolutely captivated not only with the story but the narration from the first to the last chapter. I love Jenna

I was glad to get Jenna’s story she was a character I loved in book 1.
She is one heck of a strong character which is why I loved her so much. She has to be with her job. But she is professional at the same time. So when Christian comes to one of her properties she puts her professionalism to the test. Only he thwarting her from getting away at every turn you can’t help who you fall in love with. ;)

Just enjoyed the swoon-worthy story.
Loved the narration, on to the next!

Loved Jenna & Christian!

We are back in Cunningham Falls with the second standalone in Kristen Proby’s Big Sky Series. This is a sweet story between a woman from a small town and a sexy hollywood actor visiting a small town. I devoured this audiobook. The narrators chosen were perfect as Jenna and Christian!

Jenna is an intelligent, independent woman. She doesn’t expect Christian when he walks into her life and into one of her treehouses. Jenna is loyal to her friends and family, has a kind heart and is funny and super likeable.

I absolutely adore the setting in Cunningham Falls. Jenna’s treehouses are unique and fit so well in this quaint, small town.

Jenna and Christian fall in lovely quickly but with his time in his Cunningham Falls coming to end they have to figure out how they can survive a long distance relationship and I was unsure how it would all work out.

I loved the side characters in this series, particularly Max, Jenna’s big brother! His over protectiveness of Jenna was endearing. I also loved the teasers dropped about him and Willa and it left me wanting more and anticipating their story! Christian’s sister all though I didn’t like her most of the story she redeemed herself in the end.

If you love a steamy, insta-love story this one is for you.

The epilogue was the sweetest!

RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Loved Christian and Jenna’s story

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve read a Kristen Proby book. I am kicking myself for waiting so long. Kissing Jenna was such a sweet read. The narrators were perfect and had me listening to the entire book in almost 24hrs.

Jenna loves her hometown and what she does for a living. She’s a simple girl who loves her family and friends. She wasn’t expecting for a celebrity to be so normal. It was so easy for her to fall for Christian.

Christian is getting ready for a movie role by learning to ski. He ends up staying at one of Jenna’s cabins. Sparks fly with these two. The chemistry is instant.

I loved Kissing Jenna it was a great listen that I highly recommend.

Snow Wolfe

In a case of different worlds colliding, Jenna - a small-town entrepreneur meets Christian - Hollywood heartthrob and "world's sexiest man".

Christian, doing research for what he hopes is his next Hollywood blockbuster, books a " tree-house cabin/chalet from Jenna to stay in while he learns how to ski for his next role. Christian's agent chose this particular location because it would be easier for Christian to focus on his lessons without being swarmed by overheated fans.

Jenna, investing an inheritance in constructing skiing cabin rentals, was surprised when her newest renter ended up being a Hollywood hunk whom she greets in pajamas and bunny slippers.

Neither was looking for or wanting a relationship but it was insta-lust. Both went into the acquaintances with benefits situation with eyes wide open and a no strings attached agreement. But love had other plans.

There are a few dramatic moments and a "fake relationship" that seems real but otherwise the story pretty much focuses on their attraction, lots of bedroom &kitchen scenes 😉, and Jenna's closeness with her college girlfriends.

Joan Delware and Lee Samuels gave stellar performances but did seem to lack some passion for the story and, at times, their narration felt a bit flat.

Overall, A pleasantly entertaining story.

Feel good romance of small town girl and a movie star!

Romances with a movie star are my kryptonite!! This book has a fantastic, well written plot of small town girl meets famous movie star!

We meet Jenna Hull, who runs her own business in Cunningham Falls, Montana. She is the sister of Brad and Max Hull who we met in “Charming Hannah.” Christian Wolfe then comes to town and stays at Jenna’s rental property while he learns to ski for a movie role. This book then develops into an appealing and charming romance story with little drama or angst! Definitely a feel good story that will make you feel like you’re right there in the heart of Montana!

Joan Delware and Lee Samuels did a fantastic job narrating this story! I connected with their voice portrayals of the characters and it made me feel immersed in the story! Amazing performance!

Jenna & Christian

Small town series are so much fun. This is my first book by Kristen Proby, and I am in love with Cunningham Falls! Jenna is the owner of a resort. Strong, independent business woman that she is, she is not looking for Christian. When he comes to learn to ski for an upcoming movie role, she is caught off guard, and so is he! These two are so sweet together, I could not get enough of them. There is a little angst, a little twist and a few turns, but the story just flows. The characters are fantastic! Jenna is the perfect role model. Successful, doing what it takes, being smart about her business and she loves with her whole heart. Christian is swoon worthy. Yes, an actor, but certainly not stuck on himself, he gives off a warmth that is impossible not to love. Add in his crazy sister and his good friend Luke and we have a great cast of characters! I also love the wonderful support system that Jenna has with her friends, giving Cunningham Falls that hometown feel. It's a fun listen and I can't wait to pick up book 1 to catch up and then continue the series!

Joan Delaware and Lee Samuels bring this gem to life. The casting of these two is perfect. Their voices fit Jenna and Christian just as I would think they would sound. Their voices, their inflections and each emotion comes through with this talented team. It's a wonderful listen!
