Publisher's summary

I'm thrilled to be the maid of honor in my friend's wedding, but the best man, Andrew McCormick, is a chauvinistic pig with a god complex. And I can't stop kissing him in closets.

(Don't ask.)

He's the brother of the groom and the CEO of my biggest mystery shopping account, but suddenly he's refusing to be in the wedding. He won't talk about it. Won't see reason.

He's such a man. And he still won't stop kissing me in random closets.

(Thank goodness.)

I'm a fixer. That's what I do. I can fix anything if given the chance. But when the game is fixed, there's only so much I can do.

The ball's in his court now.

Game on.

Ok, Ok if you’re thinking you won’t read this book because it’s not Shannon and Declan I am here to tell you…. READ IT!

Declan’s brother Andrew is this book and boy howdy if you were at all intrigued by him in other books you’re going to want to read about him and his life and falling in love and oh so, so many things. <3

I will admit Amanda was not my favorite character in any other books but this book she made me a believer. She wasn’t looking for love and isn’t that when it smacks you upside the head.

Andrew and Amanda are perfect for each other but it takes them a while to see it.
I loved that we get a Momzilla.. Yes, this book is about Amanda and Andrew but it’s also about Shannon and Declan’s wedding and Momzilla… I don’t want to give too much away hahaa let’s just say Shannon can bring her mother to her knees by uttering one tiny little word.. “Elope!” Haha

I took off half a star because I found the book to be just a little too long, don’t get me wrong I loved it but just a little too much. But other than that loved it soo soo glad I read it. And the narration, Amy McFadden she did a great job. Love it so very much!

*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

Hilarious, Hot, Hijinks and Happily-Ever-After

Easiest book I've listened to in ages. Momzilla is seriously planning the wedding of the century. Even inviting the President of the United States. She kept me in stitches and everyone in the book angry at all times. The author's sarcastic humor is perfect for this series. Can't wait to start the next book.

Shopping for a CEO

I can't get enough of this series. Julia Kent keeps you laughing. The ending of this one was priceless. I think it's the first time Marie is at a loss.

It's nice to see Andrew and Amanda finally start acting on their feelings and moving forward in their relationship. This one also hints at future matches.... I can't wait to see how that plays out.

Awesome series!!

This is Shopping for a Billionaires Wife written by Julia Kent. Julia continues the story of Declan McCormick, billionaire mogul and Shannon Jacoby, mystery shopper extraordinaire and their family and friends. At the end of the last book we got to see Shannon and Declan run away from their own wedding to elope in Vegas. The problem is that EVERYONE follows them to Vegas and the craziness continues! Love this series!! Don't miss out on these books!

HILARIOUS...NOT WHAT I EXPECTED

Here is what 'Shopping for....' is: Amanda works for a Mystery Shopper company. Mystery Shopper is hired by other companies to critique their store chain/businesses performances or competitors performance.

As in the summary Andrew and Amanda have had a touch and go relationship for a couple of years. Something happens to bring Andrew to his senses. This is their story....

Amy McFadden is fabulous. Her delivery of the humor is spot on. I promise you will laugh your a** off.

My first book by Julia Kent and as I've said her writing is hilarious.

Absolutely worth credit/$$. Just get it you won't be sorry.

Deeper than the rest

So this story line was a bit different than the writing I was typically use to. There was less humor and way more heart. I have truly fallen for Amanda!!! She is strong and caring and just an amazing person. She doesn't let her fear of anything hold her back. She is relatable and reliable! She made this story for me. Andrew, at times, was a jerk! He allowed fear to hold him back from life. A fear worth having but he used it as a crutch, which I disapprove of! I love the ending and how their HEA! Can't wait until the next book!

Another fun and sassy story

Would you listen to Shopping for a CEO again? Why?

Omg yes this book is hilarious and probably the funniest story by Julia Kent I've listened to to date.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Andrew he's so vulnerable and yet strong and determined . He takes risks in the business world yet is afaid to take them in his personal life.

Have you listened to any of Amy McFadden’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She does an amazing job as she always does. She brings this story together in a fun way and you can clearly differentiate between the characters.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It was hard to listen to Andrew express his fears and tell Amanda not to choose him. It was gut wrenching and very emotional but also so sweet bc he was trying to spare her an uncertain future because of his own concerns.

Any additional comments?

Marie is out control, Shannon is preparing for her wedding to Declan and allowing Momzilla to handle all the planning much to her and Declan's dismay. The Amanda and Andrew relationship adds a new flair to the storyline and makes for some interesting twists and turns. Overall it's a fun romantic story full of laughs and tender moments and some sexy scenes.

Another great installment!

The narrator was perfect. The way I imagined the characters would sound is exactly how she reads. She really brought this book to life.
