Publisher's summary

Kelly Kennedy and Tyler Manning are planning a Christmas wedding, and her six-year-old daughter, Bree, is worried about being the perfect flower girl. Complications arise when Tyler gets reacquainted with a female soldier he rescued back in Afghanistan. Meanwhile, Kelly gets an urgent message from the man who fathered Bree, asking for a big favor.

With their Christmas wedding looming, Kelly and Tyler must tie up all loose ends while Bree risks her life to do a good deed before Santa's sleigh hits their roof. Will love, faith, and a Christmas miracle be enough to keep their family together?

Amazing Story!

This has been such a journey with Kelly and Tyler! Rachelle Ayala has brought the problems of soldiers who come back from war to the forefront. And as this story shows, it's not only soldiers who have PTSD and need help but everyone who is involved in wars. Kelly has to learn that Tyler has a big heart and wants to help everyone. Tyler has to learn to put his family first no matter what. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this series and highly recommend it to everyone! I think Rachelle always brings hard story lines to our attention whether it be PTSD, sperm donation, people with control issues (Kelly), and different types of people from different walks of life. Elizabeth Klett does a wonderful job of narrating. I received a free copy for my honest review. I think everyone will enjoy this series!

More Tyler, Kelly, and Bree!

A Wedding for Christmas is the third book in A Veteran's Christmas series. Tyler and Kelly are planning their Christmas wedding. Tyler finds himself a little busy spending time with a soldier from his past. Kelly gets frustrated about it, but she loves him and she is trying to understand. Bree, Kelly’s six-year-old daughter, is the flower girl. Bree really wants to be a part of the wedding and is so excited but also worried about doing a good job. She is tasked to do a good deed, and boy does she ever.. When Bree’s biological dad contacts Kelly through the agency, things get tense. What does he want? Will this mess things up? Or will everything continue as planned? This story can be read as a standalone, but will be enjoyed much more by reading the other books in the series first. I loved this addition to the series, and I really enjoyed listening to the narrator as well. I highly recommend this book, well, the entire series really.

A Wedding for Christmas

A beautiful Christmas wedding that is planned for Kelly and Tyler with six year old Bree taking her flower girl duties very seriously, runs into a few snags.

Tyler is a Veteran dealing with his own PTSD and is devoted to helping other Veterans and former teammate deal with it also. This takes some of his time away from his fiancé and family and causes a few issues.

Kelly is a strong willed , independent woman who is feeling overwhelmed and has a lot to deal with. She certainly has her share of twists and turns and surprises in this story. Will their love be strong enough to endure everything that comes their way?

Brownie, is a large, sweet, protective dog that you can't help but love. He also has a very important part in this story.

This book is the perfect story to remind us of the importance of helping others and the true meaning of Christmas. It is filled with love and heart wrenching moments and yet has some humor dealing with little Bree and Matt. It had me reading well into the night and waking up early just to listen to the last chapters.

Elizabeth Klet is the perfect narrator for this story. Her character voices are perfect and holds your interest while listening. She reads with so much emotion too.

Another excellent , heartwarming story from Rachelle Ayala.

A sweet, clean romance with cute kids

Audio review I love this narrator. She manages to bring across both views quite well. She has great pacing and a smooth voice. It never feels like she is reading but telling you a story.

Kelly is planning her Wedding for Christmas day. Rehearsal is Christmas Eve, her son's first birthday party is two days before. Her fiance Tyler was a homeless vet and runs into an ex-comrade that is now homeless. Bree her daughter is excited about being a flower girl.

This is a cute story about life and how things can get out of hand. Kelly seems like superwoman taking all this on then when she finds out about his homeless friend she helps her too. It shows that life after serving our country isn't easy.

If you like a fast-paced, fun story, with a good message, cute kids, and a very satisfying ending this is for you.

An emotional ending to a wonderful series!

There are some very serious topics that come up within this book and they are presented very well. It felt very real to me... not your typical perfect romance where everything is rosy.

A perfect conclusion to Kelly and Tyler's (and Bree's) story.

Sweet Christmas wedding story.

I love just about everything I've read or listened to by this author. No one should get married on Christmas day. it's just way too crazy a time, but it makes a good story. I love happily ever afters.I voluntarily reviewed this audio book after receiving an advanced copy.

Phenomenal End to the Series!!!

I thought that the second book in the series was going to tear me up, but this story, just drive me further insane. Just when everything should be smooth, and the demons are being handled, and the family is becoming one, more setbacks, doubts, and drama arise. This family has really been through so much, and they deserve to be happy!

Elizabeth Klett is an amazing narrator and I think perfect for this series. Her ability to have many different accents brings the story more to life than just reading the story could.

I love the ending to this series, and couldn't be happier with how it ended!!!

Hope is never far away, when faith is on your side

What began with the dreams of a little girl has become an inspirational tale of the human spirit.  Rachelle Ayala tackles despair, hope and everlasting love through the eyes of innocence.  Her, "A Veteran's Christmas" series explores what family really means.  We can't control the surprises in life but it's the precious moments and enduring, faith that helps in times of crisis.  Ms. Klett is once again ready to shine a light on the trails of Kelly, Bree and Tyler on their road to happily ever after.  Her talent is unmatched with her entertaining vocal transitions and her emotionally charged connection to the characters.  Hope is never far away, when faith is on your side.  After all the drama, it looks like there will be "A Wedding for Christmas" and I'm glad to have a front row seat.

Very realistic story!

This book was well written and preformed. The narrator did an excellent job of infusing personality and energy into these characters. That said I, this was a book I struggled to get through. I started and stopped numerous times. This is not normally what I do when I get one of this authors books, sometimes devouring two in a night. So I spent sometime trying to figure out why this was happening, how to continue and then how to write an honest review.

It truly is well written, it does deal with some harsh realities. The storyline moves on a steady pace. The narrator does an excellent job. So what was the problem. I believe that it comes down to my personal preferences. And an author or book review should not reflect that. I choose to listen and read for enjoyment, entertainment, and escape. Many times a book escape can make my shift at work fly by. This book did not provide me any of those. Yet that does not mean that it will be the same for you.

I would recommend this book to you if you like your stories on the serious side, dealing with current social problems. If you like your characters to be very realistic than you will love this book! The characters were developed to such a realistic point that I truly wanted to slap some sense into Kelly more than once! Yet they end this story in a good place.

So give it a try it may be the best book you have ever read!
