Publisher's summary

Renner Caldwell has her life perfectly mapped out. She has the ideal relationship, the perfect job, and all is right in her world. When a shameful turn of events happens, she boards the first plane bound for Ireland to lick her wounds and get her head back on straight.

Cillian O'Braidagh is the sexy front man to the Irish rock band, Over The Edge. His rising fame and sultry voice make him every woman's fantasy come true. Not to mention his single-minded determination. To put it simply: what Cillian wants, Cillian always gets. And he wants Renner, because there's just something about the flame-haired beauty he has to possess.

If their relationship was just about sex and rock n' roll, it would be easy for them to get lost in their desires. Only their relationship is anything but a hook-up. Will lies, deceit, and hidden tragedy get in the way, making the path to true love uncertain? Or will the girl whose been knocked off course find her footing with the man who is teaching her it's okay to lose control?

Note from Sawyer Bennett: This book is part of the Off Series but it can be heard as a standalone book. Nothing in the prior or subsequent books will diminish your understanding of this novel. This is a New Adult, Contemporary Romance.

When You See Crazy Coming, Cross the Damn Street

This was an enticing romance that kept me listening and interested to the end. Who knew that a tattooed up, facial pierced Irish rock star could be so sexy, and dense. Cillian seemed to know everything about what Renner wanted and was completely clueless about his bandmate/former girlfriend. But he was awfully cute anyway. I love that even with everything Renner had to be insecure about, she didn't let that make her a jealous shrew. Love the chemistry between Cillian and Renner. The story fell in line with the others in the series.

The narration was good and the Irish accents, especially by Matthew Holland were easy to listen to and understand. Charlotte does a good job with the female voices and a passable Irish accent. I would listen to them narrate other books.

Definitely worth the credit. This is the the third book that I've read in the series and I am still looking forward to completing the series. Good job Sawyer Bennett.

I can't tolerate weak women! This 1's a doormat!

Mutual domination & submission is one thing but zero lack of respect from a man and for yourself is sickening. I couldn't finish the book for fear I was going to smash my phone listening to another word from this pathetic excuse for a modern woman or the misogynist male piece of pooh. Everybody has problems that doesn't give you carte blanche to need someone to dominate you... Nope! Grow a spine!

Tired of women with no self respect.

I find I'm unable to read/listen to stories where the women don't respect themselves. Where in the real world do we find a person who experience what this heroin experiences in their first encounter still entertain the idea of being friends with someone like that. Especially when such person is nowhere near sorry.... I just can't!

That first trip to Ireland would map her life. . .

Renner Caldwell loved her graduation gift of a trip to Ireland and family. She enjoyed it even more when she meets Cillian O’Bradaigh. The sexy, young, Irish rocker was every young girls dream. He kissed her like there was nothing else in the world. Then he just as easily walked away from her and picked up with another. This turns Renner in to a more logically thinking young woman. Years later she returns to Ireland and the path of Cillian.

There was depth to Cillian. He was a man that had a whole story behind him and maybe guiding him. The direction of this guidance may turn out to be hazardous to his future. This was well written and gave some intriguing characters both secondary and main.

Narrator Charlotte and Matthew brings the whole cast to life. Giving them depth and perception. The accent of the Irish land was just beautiful. The cadence and pitch well worth the listen. The audio was smooth and clear.

Off Course

Ok this might be the favourite.

I know I said that about but the last one but this one was Sawyer Bennett to me.
We have the first meet that doesn't go so hot, to the second one that shows just exactly what chemistry can do.

I loved Killian I think he was sexy, if not a little gullible but its understandable he wasn't to save someone who with the same issues as his father. Guilt is a hard thing, and yes he doesn't make the best choices but it is all in how you deal with the fall out.

I like that Renner didn't settle for anything less than she deserved!! Both times she puts herself first and that is freaking amazing.

The narration is fantastic, how Matthew Holland can go from an deep south American accent to Ireland and not have it sound off is incredible.

Loved it

I loved this book couldn't put it down. When Renner was 17 she spend the summer in Ireland with her uncle and his family. There she met Cillian a rock star and a friend of the family. Now older and after a bad relationship that cost her her job she returned to Ireland where she sees Cillian again but she doesn't want anything to do with him but he won't take no for an answer. Cillian's friend and band mate Maeve will do anything to break Cillian and Renner up because she wants him back.

Good Story but Wanted More Steamy Scenes

Listened to the audio version. The narrators did a great job. Rockstar romance that is part of a series. This is a standalone and my first read of this series, and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything by not reading the first two books. Most of the book takes place in Ireland, so of course there are Irish accents. My only really issue with the story is the author starts some really steamy sexy times which get cut off before they get really good.

Great story!

This one is my favorite of the Off series so far! Great story! Great narration! Not just the typical rockstar story.
