Publisher's summary

Pro quarterback Cade Prescott's last play was to lose the Super Bowl for his team. To escape the bad press and recover from the disastrous season, he changes his appearance and hides away at a sleepy university town.

Andie Wales's first love is researching ancient bad boy kings. She is blissfully unaware of the Super Bowl and modern day bad boys. When her dog meets and mates with Cade's dog, Andie's first concern is to get her dog to a vet. She gets waylaid by Cade and his hunky good looks and has no idea just how out of her league Cade is.

Despite his secrets, Cade feels differently about Andie and thinks he might be falling in love. Unfortunately, his past catches up with him, and he is forced to make a difficult decision. Can a professional athlete and a research librarian truly prove the axiom that opposites not just attract, but were meant for each other?

Cliffhanger. Cade and Andie's story continues in Part Two.

Quarterback Meets Librarian Romance

This is a short engaging story about a high profile quarterback that meets a small city librarian. She has no clue who he is and their relationship starts based on lies but the truth always has a way of catching up with you.

Narration was excellent and brought the story to life.

The only downside to this book is that it leaves you hanging with a huge cliffhanger. Their relationship is new and trouble seems to be right around the corner. I’m looking forward to the next book in this fun series.

Sweet Football romance

Intercepted by Love is a sweet story about a football player that has gone into hiding. The sexy football player is attempting to just hide out and find himself, but he ends up finding much more than that! With an unexpected run-in in the library, Cade finds someone who doesn't know what he does and like's him for who he is. It does end on a bit of a cliffhanger but luckily the entire series is out!

The narration is good, Chris Abell has yet again done a great job!

Cute start in this multi part story

The story that spreads out in various audiobooks, was delightful and a very pleasant surprise.
The story centers around Cade Prescott, a very famous football player whose last game cost his team the coveted title, and Andie Wales, a research librarian in a small college town.
They meet by chance when their dogs were getting “acquainted” and the attraction was immediate between the humans and their dogs :).
But Cade is hiding his identity and Andie is caught in his web of lies until his past comes back to haunt him. Will Andie forgive his deception and current problems or will she send him away? I am off to listen to part 2 to find out.

Fun Chic Lit Romance-Part 1 of 6

This relatively short (just under 3 hours) contemporary romance was fun to listen to.

Rachelle Ayala introduces us to Andi Wales (female) a research librarian who specializes in the Old Testament "bad boys" and Cade Prescott, a pro quarterback who flubbed the final play in the Super Bowl causing his team to lose.

To escape the press, Prescott goes undercover and off the radar – he hopes. Until one day his dog meets and mates with Andi's dog. Before the dogs can finish their afterglow, Andi's dog runs away and is presumed swept up or stolen by a band of dog thievery hooligans.

Distraught, Andi frantically searches for her dog. Feeling a bit guilty for his dog's behavior, Cade joins in the search – while trying to stay undercover.

Please read the publisher summary or listen to the book for more details. I don't think that I can add anything else without spoiling.

Chris Abell has a wonderfully smooth voice that is a pleasure to listen to. I really enjoyed his performance. 4.5 stars

NOTE TO LISTENER: This is Book 1 in the series. It does end with a CLIFFHANGER. The story continues in Part Two. There are 6 books in total in the series and Andi & Cade's ups and downs are the focus. I would not advise listening to them out of order

Warnings: Mature themes
