Publisher's summary

Justin Cooper wasn't always the straight-laced Holiday Elementary School principal. In his youth, he broke all the rules and enjoyed being the bad Cooper brother. One Christmas Eve night he got a little too rowdy and things changed forever. Now the consequences of that fateful night have come back in full force and the myths of Christmas might be more real than he thought.

Rina Brewer is one of Santa's elves. Not the tiny cute little toy maker, but the sexy, petite, energy filled bombshell kind. She's come to Holiday to aid Justin in his new role as Santa's executive, but as soon as she sees the sexy ex-bad boy, she realizes the job may be more than she bargained for.

As they work together to make this Christmas one to remember, an old foe has come to town to make sure that this holiday is the coldest yet.

Warning: Contains a perky elf who dreams of something more, a Christmas myth who may be a baddie, and a sexy ex-bad boy who craves Christmas cookies...and a certain perky blonde.

Santa's Executive

I enjoyed learning about Justin in this second book in the "Holiday, Montana" series and spending some time with the Cooper brothers.

The narration is really good

Unique

So this is book 2 in a series of 5. I felt a little lost at times as the characters weren’t always explained as to who they were.

Overall it was a cute story but I have mixed feelings as to whether I want to continue the series.

Gregory Salinas narrated the book. He did a great job switching between the male and female voices as well as the British accent given to the Jack Frost character.

I will never see an elf the same way again!

I have no words for this one. Seriously I don't. I usually hate books that are "seasonal" but this one worked really well for me. The idea of a magical town was unexpected, but it turned out to really work with the story. Having my childhood enjoyments (Santa, Christmas, elves...) in a more adult view was really nice.

It's a short book, but it packs everything you want and need in a good story right there!

Magical Adventure

Carrie Ann Ryan has written a magical adventure with elves and Santa. Her plot and character development is delightful. Rina has to convince Justin that he is destined to become Santa's executive. What a shock to the system! In the meantime, there is definitely a romance blooming. Now add another fairy tale character that wants Justin dead and here is an exciting tale. Gregory Salinas gives distinctive voices to all of these characters. His voice makes us feel the emotions of the characters. He is an exciting storyteller and is a pleasure to listen to. I highly recommend this Audible book.

new meaning to santa's helper

Justin Cooper is the elementary school principal and the closer that it gets to Christmas, the more he wants sugar cookies and all things 'Christmassy'. Then he receives a phone call from a woman claiming to be an elf and telling him that he's one of Santa's executives...wonder what she's been smoking, right? Rina is one of Santa's elves and can't understand why Justin did not believe her...so she decides to run away from the North Pole and meet Justin...she's tired of being a 'basement' elf. When Justin meets Rina, she reminds him of a time during his childhood when he almost died and Santa saved him...as part of his debt to Santa, he became an 'executive'. A human who is gifted with the Christmas magic and responsible for spreading holiday cheer. All should be wonderful, right? Let's just say that not everyone at the North Pole wants Justin to come into his magic powers. Great story with cameos from the other Cooper brothers.

Problem with sound level

I had to turn the volume all the way up to barely hear the story.

Never underestimate your Feelings

Funny how you feel differently when someone just walks into the room. Never in a million years did you think that Santa Claus was real but then again anything can happen right
