Superb Content - Subpar Narrator Selection

What did you love best about MONEY Master the Game?

Tony sheds light on many misconceptions in the marketplace and allows the listener/reader to break through the hype to see what is really in our best interest financially. His ability to interview the top names in the industry and get candid responses makes this book stand out amongst all the other investment books out there. I recommend buying the text version of the book too. The book contains many figures, numbers, and data points that are nice to be able to refer to in text. While the content was excellent, the publisher really dropped the ball on the selection of narrator.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Tony, but he only read the first and last chapter. Raspy voice or not, no one can inspire like him. Despite this, the selection of narrator could have been much better. MUCH BETTER... Jeremy Bobb should not get any flak for his performance, as he did a good job. He just should not have been selected for this particular job.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Nothing personal against Jeremy Bobb, he did an excellent job narrating the book to his abilities. The fault, I believe, lies in the publishing company, or whoever selected Jeremy as a narrator. Number 1: It's Tony Robbins, which is going to be difficult for anyone, even the most charismatic to follow upNumber 2: The topic of money, while intriguing, can be a bit dry, so it needs to be spruced up with an enthusiastic voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

With the content in mind, yes... If Tony were reading it, yes... But the dull narration makes it difficult to get through.

Any additional comments?

I love the book and still recommend it to everyone. I believe it is a must read for anyone who has money in the market or is thinking about starting a retirement plan (which should be everyone). Despite the poor selection of narrator, it is a superb book, one of the best I have read on the topic. Tony really did his homework on this one!

Great content, Little Lengthy

Tony Robbins delivers an excellent perspective for the individual seeking financial independence. I was hooked by a promo video he first released saying, "I went to all the best minds of the financial world and asked them, If you couldn't leave any of your money, just a portfolio or a handful of tips to help them succeed, what advice would you leave your loved ones?"

The book is a little lengthy, but the first five chapters build context well for audiences new to the concept of financial freedom. As a Financial Advisor, myself, I enjoyed Tony's presentation of material and strategies of other financial professionals and it was refreshing to gain a little more transparency into the 1% of 1-percenters.

I think this book can spand to all audiences, and you can tell that Tony put not just his time into this, but also his personal interests, philosophies, and his energy. That becomes most apparent in the earlier and final chapters. If you can make it to the end, both of this book and this review, I believe this will be very much worth your while. My biggest struggle will now be when will I read this book again?

The key to living is giving!

It took me 55 years to find the truth in your quote "the key to living is giving". When everything came together in my life financially, emotionally, spiritually, and educationally that quote became crystal clear and was the icing on the cake. This audio translates and concludes with that same story theme throughout. Great book with guidance that can be easily accomplished!

I need to take better notes

There were moments where I felt overwhelm and lost, I needed more explanation. I felt a need to jump into action but somehow wanted my hand held through it. However, the blend in knowledge and stories flowed well with my understanding. I will need to go back and review some of the steps, but the stories definitely stuck in my mind.
Love it!
